Chapter - 9

Lia Raven

Waking up from a bad sleep. Just seeing Andra ruins my mood. Mom and dad's leaving tomorrow. And Ryan after some few days. To freshen me up, I first took a shower and texted Skylar. It's 10 a.m. now.

Let's go to the park today.

I went downstairs to get my breakfast on my own. Mom and dad were busy for their business so they ate together whenever they got time and rarely with us. Ryan liked to eat in his room so it was always by my own. After eating, I went upstairs and took my side bag which had my mobile, wallet and some more necessary stuffs.

Reaching the park, I saw Skylar. We started walking and taking rounds. We saw an ice cream shop nearby and bought two ice creams. Kids were running and playing. I loved the environment. It was loud yet calming. I loved it. We sat for some moments and was about to leave. Then I saw... Raiden? Coming to us? Oh no-

He asked what we were doing. Skylar answered it. Woo. Is that his cat. "Is it your cat?" I asked. "Yes. Her name is coco." he replied. It's so cute. It brought me a big smile. I asked, "Can I hold her?" He replied, "Sure." he gave coco to me and it was too cute OMG. "She's cute." I stated. I could feel the chuckle of Raiden at my words. After playing with coco and Skylar, I gave her back to him. "We need to go." I said and left with Skylar.

While we were walking, Skylar continuously received texts. "Who?" I asked. We sat on a bench and started seeing the messages. "It's Adrian." She said. Well, I could see it was Adrian. He wants to hangout? With us? "Do you wanna go?" she asked. I replied after a while, "Well, I do wanna do something other than staying in my room. It's going to be only the four of us, right?" She informs, "No, Raiden will too." I denied, "Then, no need. Let's spend it ourselves." Sky was stubborn. She exclaimed, "No, no! This is your fuckin chance. Don't waste it, Lia." I needed to accept my defeat. She never called me "Lia" except serious situations. "Uhh, fine. We'll." I replied with a sigh. I dropped her home and she told to be in the exact park at 3:45 p.m.

It was 12 p.m. I reached home too. What should I do? Maybe, pick up a nice dress. I'll wear the coat aunt gave me for my birthday. It's still new. She gave it on December 24th. It was a beige colored coat. I ironed my white shirt and black pants that I will wear under the coat. Our chef made the food so I took my lunch when I got time. I also studied in the meantime.

It's now 3:15 p.m. I washed my face and changed into my dress. I tucked in my shirt. I wore the coat on top and brushed my hair. Then, Skylar called me.

- Yes, Sky?

- Wear some lip tint today.

- Please...

- It's just a lip tint. It's not going to be a problem. It's just a little pink.

- Still...

- Just wear some. Okay?~

Ugh that tone. I need to wear it now...

- Um okay. But you can't judge it.

- Obviously I won't. I'm your bestie bish!

- Okay, I'll meet you at the park. Now hang up.

After talking with her, I wore a little bit of tint and sprayed some perfume. Nothing's gonna happen. It's okay.

I go downstairs with my side bag. "Where are you going?" Ryan asked. "I'll just spend some time with Skylar." I replied. "Don't be late." Ryan ordered. "Yeah, yeah, I won't!" I replied in an annoyed tone.

I left the house and went to the park. Skylar waved at me. The two other boys were there too. Except Raiden... maybe he wouldn't come. I sighed a bit. "Why are you sighing?" Adrian asked. "Nothing." I replied. "Oh, my Lili. You look so fabulous." Skylar denoted. Kai agreed, "I know, right." I smiled at their words and just by then Raiden came. He looked so annoyed by seeing me. I shouldn't have come.

Adrian exclaimed, "Hey, man! We quintet are going to the race go karts today!!" "What the hell man-" Raiden couldn't finish his sentence. They dragged him with them. We followed them too.

We went to the super mall where we will ride the race go karts. I have always loved that.

"Uhh, I need to hang my coat first." I stated to them. Adrian replied, "There is a room. You can keep it in the locker. You both need to, right?" Skylar wore a coat too. So, we both went there to hung them in the locker. We untucked our shirt and came back.

We went in the court and sat in five different karts. We started our race. There were many other people too.

- Kai, don't you dare come closer to me.

- I will, Lili. YESH!

- You suck, bitch!

- Hehe.

- I will kill you, Adrian.

- Hehe, sky. You can't even take such a bump?

We were enjoying ourselves then I bumped into Raiden's car really hard.

- Woo, Lia. You are quite good.

- There are many more things I'm good at.

I had such a happy time after so many years. After finishing, we wore our coats by tucking the shirt in and took our bags. We'll go through the mall now.

- Lili, apply some more tint.

- Skylar...

- Please...

- Ughh ok.

I applied a bit of tint, took my bag and left with Skylar. We went outside where the boys were waiting for us.
