Raiden Grayson

6:45 a.m. Ahh I didn't get enough sleep. My fault, I kept watching the pictures I took until 4 a.m. Crawling out of my bed, I stood up half asleep.

I opened the curtains, to let in the warm sunlight.

I went to the washroom to be fresh and get ready. No time for shower today... I got ready, took my packed bag and ran downstairs to see my aunt. "Good morning, dear." Aunt spoke and I hurriedly took a bread in my mouth and ran out of the house. "This kid." I could hear her saying to me. It took me like 10 minutes and I saw Lia's figure walking ahead. She was on her way to school.

Why am I focusing on her?

I heard a voice coming from the back, "Lia!" I turned and saw a guy? Why is he calling her?

Wait, why am I even thinking about it.

As soon as I looked back in the front, I saw Lia staring at me then that guy. She came to this way then passed me and went to that guy. She spoke to me, "Thanks for yesterday. This is Ryan, my brother." I nod and pretend that I don't care who it was and started walking forwards.

I finally reached school and saw my homies. They were gossiping. I went to them and smacked their backs, "HEY!" Kai spoke, "Why are you so excited?" I replied, "I don't know?" Adrian gave us an information, "I heard that the nerd will be home alone for a month." We both spoke, "Who?" Lia was getting in the campus at the exact moment. She gave me a disappointed look, I guess? Adrian pointed with his eyes, "Her." I asked out of annoyance, "Is that even a thing we need to know about?" Adrian replied, "I mean, she is lucky." Kai asked, "How do you even know?" Adrian replied, "Like her brother is dating my sister. So-" Kai spoke, "Oh. It must have taken her a long discussion to let them leave her alone." I left them alone and walked to the classroom. A realization hit me hard. "Oh, fuck. Aunt said to leave with her today. She had heavy stuffs with her." She's gonna kill me today. I could already imagine her fierce face.

The bell rang and the atmosphere went quiet. As a trio, we could never sit together in paired benches. I always sat in the last bench, alone. Nobody dared to sit beside me, like, wtf. Mr. Mason, our room teacher, came and we greeted him. He started talking about the field trip.

"We'll be out for 7 days in an abandoned village......" blah blah blah. The same thing aunt told. Mr. Mason ended with, "It's from 14th March to 20th March and fill the forms I give you guys now and submit it by tomorrow with your guardian's sign." He started passing the forms and left after that.

Classes kept going. Boring classes. After 4 classes, it was finally recess. I always had my aunt's made lunch, rarely from cafeteria. Today, I didn't even bring that. I also had no money with me. Maybe, no food for today. Adrian and Kai called me to follow them and I was walking with them in the hallway.

Something's wrong with me. While I kept walking, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked back and saw Lia. I asked, "What do you want?" "Nothing at all. Ms. Grayson told to pass this to you." She replied and handed me my lunch. She left as soon as I took it, in an angry way.

Is she angry? Like "who tf" cares. Imma just eat my food later. I kept walking with them and went outside. Sitting on a bench together, we started eating our food. I mean, we had to. It was a rule if I say.

After done eating, we played basketball for some moment before the bell rang for the next classes. It was maybe their PE class and we had history. I don't like this class but it's Mr. Mason's lecture. We greeted him, sat on our seats and started opening the book and notes. We all started taking notes as needed.

I tilted my head to the window out of boredom and I saw some girls playing badminton. Woah. They play so well. To be specific, Lia plays so well. I mean, she has so many medals and trophies, so she should. I was so amazed by her.

What's wrong... what's the problem with my heart? Why am I even focusing on her particularly?

I snapped out of my thought and started focusing on the lecture.
