Sleepover

It was the morning of the sleepover, I carefully made sure I had everything ready. And after that I still had a couple hours to kill, I just took a nap for the couple hours. I was tired, tired from nothing really. Might as well get my energy back before then. I woke up an hour later so I had maybe two hours left.

I dialed Emily's number, "Hello?" She asked, "Hey Emily! Want to hang out? I have two hours of free time left!" "Sure! Where?" "Want to go to the park, and you know catch up it's been a while?" "Yeah for sure be there in 10, Bye!" "See you then!"
I was borrowing my cousin's car, so I put the stuff for the sleepover in the back. I got to the park to meet Emily. I gave her a hug and sat beside her, "how's everything with Leo?" "Oh he's gone for good! I got a new boyfriend!!!" I was fangirling for a minute, "Omg who???"

"So there was a guy at the mall he works there and we started seeing eachother often so I got his number right? And we got close hung out on the weekends, called during the week. And actually a couple days ago he asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes of course!!!"

I looked at how Happy she was talking about him, I felt genuinely Happy for her. If anyone deserves a good healthy relationship it's her, Emily was so kind to Leo, I'm so happy he's finally out of her life so she can get better.

"Oh my goodness! Girl Im so happy for you! What's he like?"

"He's an extrovert, even more so than me, and he's very nice and caring. Most of all Loyal, and honest! What more could I ask for honestly?"

I nodded, "I'm so glad you found someone good, I was getting worried for you",

"You don't have to worry about me now he's genuinely such a good guy! Plus I got a job at a store across the mall so we are next to eachother now too!"

"Ok good! A new job and boyfriend? Life seems to be going pretty well!"

"It's so much better without Leo here, I wonder why It took me so long to realize that"

"He was toxic there was no telling what his intentions were."

"Yeah, how about you? How's life?" I've already vented recently so I should keep my answer short.

"I went back to Lilian once but I got rid of her again yesterday, and new hair!"

"I seriously don't like her at all. Shes chill I guess but has never had good intentions. And I love the hair, did you do it yourself?"

I nodded in agreement, "yes I actually just did it a couple days ago! Just some temporary dye and some curtain bangs nothing too huge"

"Fair enough, I was thinking about doing my hair too kind of sick of the blonde."

"Hmm, I think you would look good with red hair."

"Really?" She asked clearly confused?

"Yes! It suits you, plus who doesn't look good with red hair?"

"Fair point there" she laughed.

We spent a while talking she showed me some pictures of her new job and boyfriend, and she re did her room which was super pretty. I told her about my hair and about skipping school, also I showed her some of my songs I had wrote over the time I was out.

"BYEEEEE! WAS FUN HANGING OUT WITH YOU!" Emily yelled from across the park walking to her car and I yelled the same thing back.

I pulled up to the address the sleepover was supposed to be at, and was greeted by someone I didn't know but they happened to know me.

I saw Rose and waved at her, "Hey!" "Heyyyy" and I saw Ash, I hugged him from behind and whispered Ash in his ear.

"Ashhhhh"
"Ali?"
I laughed and went over to a spot on the ground.

"Akashi truth or Dare?" One of the girls asked him.
"Truth."
"Do you like anyone in this room?"
"Ros-"
"Besides Rose."

I didn't think anything of it I was used to him and Rose, until he glanced at me. Wait why did he glance at me?

"Nope."

And then he got dared to kiss someone, he looked at Rose then-
"BESIDES ROSE." On of the girls shouted.
I jumped and he kissed Eloise, which I was jealous but I kinda expected it. I just kept a blank face, just let him be. I can be jealous in private.

Besides he's not mine.
