Abhimanyu
Out of nowhere, there's a noise outside the door.
Chubbs pulls back and looks at me. The irritation in her eyes confirms my suspicion, and I say, "I swear I'm going to kill them."
I'm about to get up, but Chubbs holds my hand and shakes her head. She's smiling with mischief written all over her face.
There's no way my innocent Chubbs can plan something devilish, can she?
"Can you act?" She asks, stunning me, and I raise my brow.
I hope she doesn't want me to make noises to make them believe we are doing exactly what they're expecting us to do. I can't promise the deed itself will not follow the noises. Especially after the kiss we shared.
"We can pretend to fight so that it will tense them, and they'll probably not notice... anything. And also, it will be fun." She blushes.
Yeah, anything means her lips.
I've no idea if anything we do will distract our friends from her red skin. If it were anyone inexperienced, they wouldn't even notice any difference, but we're talking about really nosy people in our lives. So yeah, they'll notice.
But I can please my girl. Anyway, I'm loving this wicked side of my Chubbs.
"Topic?" I ask.
She thinks for a moment before smiling. "You want to kiss me, and I'm not letting you."
"If you don't want to, why will I force you?"
"You said you love me. Can't you take what you want?" She frowns, "And it's not like you actually asked. You just warned me before kissing me."
I gape at this girl's audacity. "I gave you enough time to stop me. And I would've waited if you'd stopped me."
She blushes hard, licking her lips as her eyes burn with fire.
"Don't," I warn her. "Don't you dare look at me like that."
She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath. "Well, let's just pretend you are not a gentleman." She says and mumbles, "Anyway, you are not exactly gentle. So, it won't be a complete lie."
"Huh!" I stare at her in bewilderment.
Closing her eyes in embarrassment, she looks down, resting her head on my shoulder. "I didn't mean that."
This girl can't be any more unpredictable, can she?
"I'm thinking about proving your point instead," I whisper, tugging her hair to make her look at me.
I stare at her face while she keeps her eyes closed, her breaths coming faster. She's such a beautiful sight to make me fall in love with her all over again.
I lean closer, placing a soft kiss on her forehead. She opens her eyes, and I loosen my hold on her hair.
"We can just ignore them and enjoy our time." Chubbs almost pleads.
"Trust me, I want that more than you," I say.
"But I also don't want to give them a chance to tease us." She frowns.
I sigh, "Let's go with your plan. But I'm not staying away from you, nor am I keeping my hands to myself." I warn her, leaning closer to her.
She nods and places her hand on my chest to stop me from moving further. "Stop." She shouts loud enough for them to hear.
