Abhimanyu: I like a girl. Will you help me set her up?

A sharp, agonizing pain tears through my heart, shattering my last thread of hope. The pain intensifies with every breath I take. The betrayal cuts deep, and the thought of him with someone else twists the knife in my heart even further.

He can't be in a relationship with me, but he wants to have other girls in his life. What if he's just bored with me and wants some variety in his life?

After all this time, can Amy's words be true?

I'm desperately trying to understand his situation, and somewhere I know there has to some reason for the break up. But no matter how hard I try, I can't let go of the hurt and the persistent doubt gnawing at me.

My heart refuses to accept that he doesn't love me anymore or is even interested in anyone else. And I'm desperate enough to hold onto the hope that there's more to his story than what he's showing me.

I can never believe that the boy who toiled tirelessly for an entire month just to make one day special for me could ever hurt me. Not just that, but he'd also handed me his entire pay without expecting anything in return.

These are the top two reasons on the list so long it could fill pages.

Every step of the way he's been my rock, always there, always loving me. He's supported me even through my worst mistakes.

If he's pulling away now, there must be reason behind it.

Me: Sure, Abhi. Tell me, which girl?

Me: Why don't we meet tomorrow and you can show me instead.

If he thinks these little stunts will push me away, then he has another surprise waiting for him.

I had always doubted his love and commitment to our relationship, but his actions have always proved me wrong.

Even now as he's trying to hurt me, his gaze never meets mine, and I'm aware of the fact that his eyes can never deceive me.

Our love speaks through our eyes, and his have always been a deep ocean of secrets. Yet in our relationship, he has never once lied to me about his love and commitment to me.

He has never talked about his love or his feelings for me without meeting my eyes.

He has avoided my eyes only when he's been awkwardly turned on, and can't really explain it to me or when he's lying.

Let him try all he wants to solidify our break up by hurting me with his words, or actions, ignoring me, flirting with other girls, he can even sleep with other girls if he wants.

But when all this is over and he remembers his actual feelings and love, I will be ready for him.

Two can play this game. I'll tolerate until I can and then it will be my turn.

Abhimanyu: Cool. But only if you can handle it. Otherwise, you don't have to force yourself.

Me: Trust me. I can handle your things just fine.

Abhimanyu: Tomorrow, at twelve, on the ground.

Me: As you wish, my love.

Abhimanyu: I'll block you if you don't drop the cheesy things.

Me: Sorry, ex-boyfriend.

As expected, he doesn't reply to that, making me chuckle.

He has no idea what he has created by loving me. His love has given me the confidence to win the world.
