IX ~ Angels

Morgan clears his throat and heads up to Reid who was half asleep "hey pretty boy" he ruffles Reid's hair causing the genius to sigh and fix it before resting his head in his hands "rough night I see" Derek pats the boys back with a evil smirk and he grimaces "ew man"

"Nice going" Elle calls out from her desk "so uh- how was the movies?" Reid shrugs "it was fine" he hides his smile as he remembers what happened after "nothing else?" Penelope spawns and flops in JJ's chair since she wasn't there yet.

"uh- we had ice cream and walked around"

"nothing else!" she exclaims in pure shock

"..she slept over" Spencer mumbles and the trio glance at each other in confusion "we didn't catch that?"

"she slept over" he repeats much louder and Garcia squeals "I knew something would happen!" Morgan and the woman high five "we're only friends" Elle groans as well as Morgan and Garcia "how long do you think they'll continue with that" Derek asks whilst walking up to Hotch's office to spill the tea.

"They're young adults, god knows how long"

Adeline was cleaning up a table in the diner when Alice comes up to her "How was the date?"

"What date?"

"Don't act stupid.. Donna told me" she shimmies and Adeline scoffs with a smile "it wasn't a date, we were just watching a movie"

Alice continues to pester but as more customers show she was forced to stop."What are you wearing?" Adeline giggles as Alice rolled around in roller skates "don't let the new manager catch you without skates" she warns and skates away.

Adeline bites her lip, it was a Sunday meaning they had to wear skates.

"Thank god" Adeline sighs as she kicks the roller skates off and puts on her normal shoes for the night shift "one more hour in these and I would've died" she grunts and leaves the locker room with Alice.

"Helo my name is Adeline and i'll be your waitress for the night.." Adeline begins as she hands the couple a menu each. "could we get two Steak frites please"

"And for a drink?"

"Just water" the brunette woman smiles and Adeline smiles back "just a minute" she takes the menus and hands the order to the chef in the kitchen.

"doesn't that guy look familiar?" Alice stares at the man Adeline had just spoken to "I don't see what you see"

"Dance with me" Alice tugs at Adeline's hand "I don't listen to these kind of songs" Adeline shakes her head and Alice tilts her head "you're just an Angel aren't you" she jokes and Adeline laughs "maybe I am" she plays along.

The killer from before who was stalking Adeline, had heard the conversation and was now convinced she was an Angel on earth.

"Table 5" the bell dings and Adeline grabs the tray that held the orders. "here you are" she purses her lips as she smiles causing the beauty mark above her lip to become more visible.
