Chapter 3 - Desires and Decisions
899 Years before present time, Youkai Realm: Tomiko Palace
The Kaiho Drum Festival has ended, the lanterns in the sky and the noise, along with the food stands have all disappeared.
Maho Wando and Mari were sleeping on a table inside the Tomiko Palace, after waking up the two leave the palace and looks at the Youkai Realm, Maho Wando was surprised that all the set up games and stands have all disappeared in a day.
Wando begins to recall what happened last day, from what Kazumi Horiuchi and Kitsune Saiguu told him, a god of youkai exists and would know what he is.
Maho Wando: Humm.. *Yawn* Hmm..
Mari: mn..?
Maho Wando: I'm a bit drowsy.. and I have thoughts mixed up..
Mari: tuaa?
Maho Wando: How do we leave the youkai realm..?
Wando thinks for a moment and decides to ask nearby youkai with how to find the exit hole to leave the youkai realm, he constantly tries to ask them but however they were all busy doing their own works.
After being unable to find the exit hole he figures out two solutions.
Maho Wando: I could try to find Miss Kazumi or Saiguu.. but where could they be..
Wando searches around the youkai realm for twenty minutes while Mari followed behind his back, however while he was walking he accidently bumps into a Kamaitachi (Weasel Youkai).
*Bump*
Maho Wando: Uuh!
Wando and Mari look at the kamaitachi they accidently bumped into, he was two times of Wando's height.
Maho Wando: I'm sorry!
???: No, it's my fault for not seeing you there kid!
Maho Wando: Uhh, I wasn't really looking too..
???: Then maybe it's both of our fault haha!
Maho Wando's Mind: (Despite the intimidating look he's a kind man..)
Maho Wando: Could I ask.. where the exit hole to the outside world is?
???: Are you leaving the realm so soon? I saw you enter last day during the festival, you should stay a little longer before leaving!
Maho Wando: Well.. my house is outside the realm and I have to go
???: Oh I see, if so then walk left to the wall barriers of the realm, if you put your hand out the entry hole will open on it's own!
Maho Wando: Oh.. I understand, I'll be going now, goodbye!
Mari: mby mby!
???: Hold on a second..
Maho Wando: Huh..?
???: Are you a youkai with multiple traits?
Maho Wando: Umm.. I think so?
???: This is the first ever one I've seen in my life! You have three of them!
Maho Wando: I don't exactly have three, hold on a second..
Wando concentrates his mind, after a few seconds a kamaitachi tail and ear appears replacing his Okuri-Inu ears and Tanuki Tail
