Chapter 8 Part 0 - The Youkai Realm Massacre Incident, Muromachi Kaito vs Kitsune Matsume.
Current Time: 2:40PM, The Basan Square City, Middle Square.
The current spectators of the fight between the two samurai are the forces of The Order of Eternity who are on Matsume's side, on the other hand, The Taxidermied Eundo on Kaito's side.
The Taxidermied Eundo: Let's increase the volumes of this battle.. 命REINFORCE命

The Reinforce is a youkai spell that uses the Life Kanji, it can be used on any living being, increasing their physical capabilities, unlike the Amplify spell that only increases the output of the fists and legs, the reinforce spell strengthens every part the of body.
In this case, Muromachi Kaito has received the spell increasing his capabilities by 140% increasing not only his strength but speed and elemental energy, which will make all forms of the Muromachi Art much stronger than before.

Mori Hashima: Reinforce? It only applied to that samurai for some reason, and not Matsume.. the range of the spell should've been enough to reach her..
Reizenbou: No, Matsume in general is completely immune to every single youkai spell that isn't an increaser of strength, from what I remember, she was capable of using the Rejuvenate spell, though, she had to use something in order to cast it..
Dodomeki Mayu: Come to think of it, I don't sense any presence of youkai energy from her at all.. there are supposed to be one condition of this instance.. where a youkai has energy beyond the average amount another one can sense, but I feel that's not it..
Muromachi Mizu: That's right, from what me and Reizenbou were told, Matsume.. has no youkai energy..
Kitsune Saiguu: That was in one of my thoughts.. turns out it's true, though, the one way to have no youkai energy is to be dead, as once a youkai dies, their energy completely dissipates making them no longer tangible to the affects of spells
Kitsune Saiguu: But, Matsume may be a special case, considering she's alive..

Kitsune Matsume: Shut up, do you really think that a loser like you who had to take control of Wando's body to stand up for yourself can talk? Coming with someone else's power sure is pathetic!

The Taxidermied Eundo: *Drum Strike*, Five Hakuten Drums Art: Oblivion of Death!
The blades summoned by the drums crash downwards, Matsume, instead of evading, catches all of the blades throwing them back to The Eundo, only to be stopped by Kaito who cuts all the blades and attempts to cut Matsume's neck.

Matsume laughs and blocks the attack with her arms and pushes Kaito back.
