Youkai Energy is a type of mana/energy that exists inside a youkai, and is the main source of casting spells that use the 死DEATH死 or 命LIFE命 kanji. Youkai energy is also related to other phenomenon energys such as Adeptal Energy from Liyue and Indemnitium from Fontaine, they are all differently executed.
Some youkai have higher or less youkai energy than others, and the amounts are classified of five types.
Extremely High: Youkai that born with extremely high youkai energy and are capable of casting spells almost indefinitely.
High: Rare youkai that are born with more amounts of youkai energy compared to others, they are capable of casting spells without getting tired for an above average amount of time.
Medium: The average amount of youkai energy that a youkai is born with, this is the most common amount.
Low: Amount that youkai that are classified with lower intelligence levels have, as they use brute force.
Very Low: Youkai who are born with extremely low amounts of youkai energy, however these youkai have a permanent youkai spell attached to them for their entire lifespan
