Walking towards the movies didn't take too long.
Well.
That's because half way through Soap paid a Taxi to drive everyone there seeing as Y/n was having trouble keeping up with the two disguised military men. Which Y/n was incredibly grateful for.
"I haven't been to the movies in a while...Last time I remember going when I was 18." Y/n stated as they spot the familiar and almost nostalgic theater.
"Really now? Huh. I haven't been to the movies in ages as well, not since I was a teen." Soap grinned, "What about you Simon?"
"...Ive never really been to the movies." Ghost replied blankly, surprising Y/n greatly, but Soap? Not so much. He knew Ghost for a good while now, so he knows enough of the shit he's been through. Past and in Military Service.
"Well I hope this can be a first good experience for you." Y/n smiled and Ghost just huffed, walking away. Y/n immediately was dejected.
'Just when I thought I was getting on his good side.' Y/n thought with a frown, before feeling Soap's hand pat their back.
"Don't take it to heart. It takes a long while to get Simon to warm up to you. He's not a people person." Soap assured
"I just hope it isn't personally me he hates...I don't even know what I did wrong to make him despise me so much." Y/n sighed and Soap snorted.
"Yeah. That's Simon for ye." Soap walked away, leaving Y/n to catch up once more, when they got to the booth to pay, they were surprised when Ghost had already bought a ticket for them and Soap.
But Y/n didn't say anything, only giving a short thank you before Ghost had already began walking over to two people-
'Wait...That's John and wasn't it?? Is he here to see the movie to?? And who's that woman beside him...??'
Soap had noticed Y/n's confused face and quickly jumped to speak before they could gain any suspicion.
"Her name's Laswell. Kate Laswell. I don't know if Kyle has ever told more on his- OUR- Gymnast occupation- But she's our manager." Soap swiftly fibbed, yet remained calm while telling it.
"Oh! Well it's nice to see you guys close. It makes things easier for work I bet." Y/n fell for the lie
"Eh...more or less..." Soap coughed into his fist before leading Y/n over to the new face, "Laswell, this is Y/n. Y/n, Laswell."
"Ah so your the one I keep hearing about I presume?" Kate hummed as she placed her hand on her hip.
Y/n had no clue why, but this woman just screamed confident to them. Like, power and determination mixing together into making pure independence. There was another thing Y/n had noticed was how her accent was not at all from Britain, it sounded American.
"Uh- Hopefully good things?" Y/n sputtered out as they realized they haven't responded yet, "Sorry to ask...but are you American?"
"Yep. I'm From America." Kate nodded, and Price gave her a certain look as if warning her to remain confidential. But she sent another look his way, shutting Price down immediately.
"Wow. So you live here now then? Johnny just said you his and others manager? I'm surprised you can even stand London...not that it's bad- Just- It can be a real drag." Y/n shrugged and Kate let out a little laugh at that statement.
"I agree with you there. Always raining.... I prefer the sunshine." Kate responded and Y/n agreed wholeheartedly.
"Hey, you two, if we want to see this movie we gotta get a move on yeah?" Price interrupted as he, Soap, and Ghost made their way to the respective theater room.
