'Fuck. Fuck. FUCK!' Gaz mind screamed as he chased down Sal. Once the man from before had exited with Sal, he/she just straight up booked it. Running away from whatever. Not even having anywhere in mind, but just survival.
"Stop running!! You are in need for questioning!" Gaz hissed, catching up to Sal hastily. Good thing he had stamina training in the military. But Sal was gradually slowing down.
"Leave me alone! I-I didn't want to be apart of this! So leave me out of it!!" He/she shouted back, pushing faster to get away, paranoia filling his/her senses.
"If you stop now and give the answers I want- then maybe we can find away to keep you safe!" Gaz tried to diffuse, even though in reality he could care less about the abusive ex of Y/n's. But he/she was still a civilian in the end and Gaz has to take precautions.
Despite Gaz's words, Sal continued on running and running. Gritting his teeth, Gaz pulled out a secret walki radio from his pocket, clicking it on and bring it up to his lips.
"This is Bravo 6-2 in the blind! I'm casing down possible suspect for being affiliated with the 'Ndrangheta mafia!! Male/female with black hair and brown eyes. We're crossing Riverside street Now!"
"Understood 6-2. All Bravo stations! Head down to Riverside ASAP! Sergeant keep a eye on the suspect! Rough em' up if you need to!" Price responded immediately
"Yes sir!" Gaz then place his radio away and trudge faster after Sal, making sure not to loose sight of him/her.
Sal was running of breathe before he/she decided to turn the corner, in which Gaz followed, cornering Sal as there was no back ways to escape from. Before Sal could even think, Gaz had him/her pinned to the rough concrete floor, holding him/her there no matter the struggling.
"LET ME GO!! I DONT KNOW ANYTHING-" Sal's mouth was covered by Gaz's hand as he pushed his/her head further down to the ground.
"You're under military arrest for questioning! You either cooperate or face consequences of illegal affiliation..." Gaz warned lowly, keeping his body weight on top of him/her. He would've cuffed him/her, but seeing as he was caught off guard in civilian clothes, he had none of his gear other than a gun and comms.
Sal eventually stopped squirming as his/her face was scraped up, and snotty with tears. It was honestly a pathetic sight for Gaz to see.
It didn't take long before Price and the other members of 141 had arrived. They had swiftly taken Sal and took him/her down to one of their covert hideout bases, shoving him/her into the chair and tying them up.
"What's your name kid." Price was demanding, not asking, in his normal gruff tone, glares being sent Sal's way. Sal had flinched, but looked so defeated.
"Sal Ester..." Sal muttered, looking down. It wasn't until Ghost forced his/her head up harshly by grabbing a fistful of hair.
"You can speak louder than that, and look directly at us when speaking....understood?" Ghost sneered coldly and Sal shivered in terror.
"Yes." Sal said a little more clearer and louder.
"Good. Maybe it'll keep you from losing a finger or two..." Soap glared, his happy go lucky facade gone as he was in his military interrogation mode.
"Is Piero the boss of the 'Ndrangheta? Or as he was originally known as, Galileo?" Ghost questioned next.
"No. He is not." Sal answered simply, shuddering a bit a the thought of who the boss really was, "But He's...similar you could say to Piero."
Ghost looked over to the others and nodded, and Soap took a turn for questioning.
"What is your affiliation with the drug-terrorist mafia known as 'Ndrangheta?" Soap crossed his arms, waiting for an answer.
"Look already told him-" Sal jutted his/her head over to Gaz, "I don't have anything to do with any of this-"
"BULLSHIT!" Gaz cut him/her off, slamming his hands down on the table with a loud bang. The sudden outburst of rage was strange to see coming from Gaz, as he was also one of the level headed ones in the group. So the behavior of him being THIS angry was not seen much.
"You told Y/n to leave London, and that you 'didn't care what happened to them' as long as it wasn't on your conscience right?" Gaz repeated Sal's words from earlier, "So I want to know why the hell do they need to leave London and why the fuck did you run if you claim to be not apart of the 'Ndrangheta."
Now the pressure was on for Sal as he/she shifted his/her gaze, trying to come up with a lie. But he/she knew it was no use.
"I meant what I said when I say I don't want to apart of this..." Sal said dejectedly, "But...HE saw that I once had...close relations with Y/n because of that night at the ice rink...thought I could 'lure' Y/n into a false sense of security...then get to their father..."
Gaz wrinkled his nose in distain as he suddenly had gripping feeling in his chest that something was wrong. Yet he couldn't pinpoint it....like there was a missing piece.
"Obviously that wasn't gonna work with lover boy here." Sal tsked, again, gesturing towards Gaz, "...I had no choice...If I wanted to live...I had to tell them everything I knew about Y/n and their father...which wasn't much other than their address." Sal shrugged.
"You gave a dangerous mafia criminal, who's been harassing Y/n and their father, information on where they live?!" Soap hissed and Sal shrugged again.
"Like I said. My life or theirs...and I've did my part here to keep myself alive...." Sal suddenly grinned, feeling everyone in the room with despair.
"You sick son of a bitch!" Soap shouted and Sal's grinning never ceased, even as Soap had grabbed him/her by the collar.
Gaz blood ran cold as he realized the danger Y/n and their father was in....and he left Y/n by themself irresponsibly.
He didn't know when, or how, but Gaz's legs ran on their own. Not listening to the orders that spewed from Price's mouth as Gaz left the hideout. Gaz had began running towards Y/n's home, he grabbed his phone, trying to call Y/n's phone, yet no one answered.
He tried and tried again.
But no luck.
His legs pumped faster as the only sound he could hear was the sound of his heart thumping in his ears. The erratic heart beat was almost painful with the amount of terror that consumed him.
It was not gonna stop him.
Not until he knew you were safe.
But as he neared the café, his vision came across a scary sight. Making his fast heart beat still for a mere moment....
Flames were all that was there. Swarming the once beautiful building that Gaz had grown to love and feel at home at.
There was No cafe...only debris...
and no Y/n in sight....
