Nicks pov:
My 11 year old is trying to argue with me about getting tiktok. it's driving me nuts.
Blake: "Dad why not? all my friends have it!"
Nick: "because i don't need creepy people looking at my daughter on the internet."
Blake: "no one is actually like that dad!"
Nick: "come here."
I open instagram and have her put in her friends name, i open who follows her.
Nick: "who's that 50 year old man huh?"
Blake: "probably her uncle or something"
I open his page and find a big family photo with the caption "glad to see the family again!"
Nick: "yeah and where's your friend in this picture?"
Blake: "whatever this is so unfair"
Nick: "i don't like that tone missy"
Blake: "omg i don't even have an attitude!"
Charlie comes into the kitchen-
Charlie: "dear your not getting tiktok, stop asking"
Blake: "can we compromise that my account will be private and i'll let you guys see everything before i post it?"
Nick: "let papa and i talk about it and we'll get back to you. now go get your brother please, it's lunch time"
(after a few minutes)
Eli: "•what's for lunch?•"
Charlie: "•chicken quesadillas"
He nods and as we all sit down i ask-
Nick: "•where's colette?•"
Eli: "•she said she was gonna use the bathroom•"
Colette: "AHHHHHHHHHHH DAD PAPA"
Charlie and i look at each other with panic, why is our 13 year old screaming??
I run upstairs while charlie tells the twins to stay there.
I go to the bathroom door and knock
Nick: "honey what happened?"
Colette: "CALL MIMI!! I NEED MIMI!!!"
Charlie comes upstairs and sees me standing at the bathroom
Nick: "honey what's going on?"
Colette: "THERES BLOOD SO MUCH BLOOD"
We lol at each other and realize what's happening.
Nick: "okay i'm calling mimi"
I call mum and let her know what's happening while char goes back downstairs to eat.
(10 minutes later)
Sarah's pov:
I knock on the door when charlie answers the door, fixing his glasses and he explains what's happening.
Sarah: "oh my! i'll head up now. I brought some of my own things but you better go buy some more for her."
He nods and i go upstairs to find nick outside panicking.
Sarah: "nicky she's fine let me take over"
He hugs me and whispers a thank you
I knock on the bathroom door-
Sarah: "hey darling, can i come in?"
Colette: "yes mimi..."
I open the door to find her crying on the toilet with blood all over her pants.
Sarah: "oh darling, don't worry mimi's here."
I peak my head out the door, nick still standing outside.
Sarah: "can you grab here some sweatpants please darling?"
He nods and rushes to grab some and come back.
I close the door again and look back at her
sarah: "okay we have a few options of what we can do"
Colette: "how long am i gonna be like this!?"
Sarah: "umm a few years..."
Colette: "how long is a few years?!"
Sarah: "50 ish years?"
Colette: "50 YEARS!?!"
She cries harder and i can't help but laugh a little.
Colette: "MIMI THIS ISNT FUNNY IM GONNA DIE!!!"
Sarah: "oh hush sweetheart, you're fine. I made it out alive! besides it's only once a month"
Colette: "i don't wanna do this!!"
Sarah: "no one does, but it makes women so much stronger than men. could you imagine your dad with a period, he'd be crying every day and night"
She laughs and i help her clean up and give her some options she would be comfortable with. After everything she hugs me.
Colette: "thank you mimi, you're the best"
Sarah: "i know i'm awesome. Now, do you wanna go get some ice cream?"
Colette: "yes please"
I grab her hand and led her outside.
Nick comes and hugs colette. he's practically crying
Nick: "you are always gonna be my little girl"
Colette: "ew dad stop being weird"
I giggle and let him know we are going to get ice cream.
Once we get downstairs, I let charlie know too but blake cuts in
Blake: "•mimi why can't eli and i come?"
Sarah: "•i'll take you guys for ice cream soon, i promise. Right not colette just needs some mimi time.•"
She sighs and so does eli
Sarah: "•how about next weekend the three of us can go get ice cream and hang out at mimi's for a bit?"
They nod and run off to the family room while colette and i turn to leave.
It turned out to be a great afternoon and colette asked some questions but most of it was just laughs. I'm happy to be her mimi💗
