As me,rider and googles got out of the elevator I pull out one of my guns "what's that?" Googles asked pointing at my gun "oh its deagle it is a pistol see us humans used to use these for hutting killing and self defense" I explained "now that I say this what type of weapons are those" I ask the two "oh this is a hero shot it uses ink to fire" goggles says to me " and how do you get this ink?" I ask him "here I'll show you" goggles said firing the hero shot onto the ground it then shot out ink blue ink to be exact hmm there must be different colors of ink but then googles turned into a squid and sank into the ink "well ain't that something" I say we then heard something googles quickly went back to normal as we pointed our guns at the door I then went up to it and it opens only to reveal a rat running out "heh only a rat what are you doing here little buddy" I ask the little rat "what the hell is that thing?!" Rider asked me "calm down it's just a rat it won't hurt ya now come on let's see what's in here" I say as we walked in it got colder while I barely realized it the other two were shivering "damn I take it you guys aren't too good with cold temperatures" I say concerningly "h-how c-could ya tell?" rider said sarcasticly, stuttering while goggles picked up a small vial "h-hey l-l-Leo what is this" goggles asked his hands shaking I grabbed it and looked at it "ah it's blood this stuff is what humans run off of if we lose to much blood we die and this blood seems to be mine" I explain to goggles who was just like a child fascinated by the simplest explanation while rider was just ready to get out the room "but here's a question are you guys basicly made out of ink" I ask to the two "y-yeah basically"rider said "alright then.....you guys sound horrible let's get out of here before y'all get sick" I said to the two they walked out with me and we feel the warmness of the hallway I then went into another room the other two and we found an inkling in a pod with a strange substance in it "what is an inkling doing here?" I ask dovah reactivating the camera systems to get a better look "facial recognition and blood/ink investigation comes back to no how is this possible?sir this is rose" dovah said what rose but how that's an inkling unless that serum dad used on her turned her into a full blown inkling but how "guys I want you to meet rose a friend of mine she used to be a human but now she's an inkling" I tell the two while they look suprised "wait how did she turn into an inkling like us!" rider asks curious and shocked "I-think I have a hunch but uhm could you get her clothed dovah" dovah used arms from the celling me,rider and goggles to respects roses privacy after dovah dressed her i then held her in my arms she looks cute in this form I start blushing before noticing a syringe that had a sticky note on it I put the syringe in one of the tac vest pockets and read it 'my son what I give you is a gift to help fit in to their society' the note read before rider stoped and hid us I set rose down on a chair Octarians four of em" rider said I then started going out before he grabbed me "are you crazy if you go out there you'll be splated" rider tells me "h ummm hello I'm human I can't be killed by your ink" I explained to them as I walk out and stand in the hallway waiting for the octarians

As they approach they got their weapons ready is i pull out my sai's and sprinted at the octarians and stabed the first one killing it instantly it only left a pinkish puddle of ink as I saw it's soul fly away 'hmmm I wonder where it's going' I ask myself I was then shot on the arm by ink it burnt really bad it felt like my skin was melting but then again it wasn't I turn around and stab the octarian then throw one of my sai's at another I pull out the sai and stabbed the last one in the head I then got the ink off of my skin and I saw my skin was red were the ink was "ahh shit that burns" I say under my breath "holy carp that was so fast" I heard goggles "heh thanks but now since those four are dead we need to hurry mabey this will help us" I said as I pulled out the syringe injected into myself I felt light headed as I went to rose and I faint

(Time skip 30 minutes later)

I awaken to see we're still in the room with rose and I hear someone banging on the door to this room I quickly get up but I felt weird I see rider and goggles asleep I look into a convinetly placed mirror and WHAT THE FUCK WHY IS MY HAIR BLUE AND WHAT IS THAT AROUND MY EYES..... did I shrink?

"ah good morning sir it seems your dna has been modified to fit an inkling yet you are still a human with bones while I don't know much on what abilities you have but I think you can turn into a squid now I think." Dovah says to me I understood the note now so my father's idea to fit into this new society is to turn me into a halfbreed and turn rose into a inkling thanks dad for being so fucking mysterious dammit I then go over to goggles and rider and woke them um by slapping both of them "oi wake the fuck up we got a job to do" I say to the two "we're up we're up" goggles said waving me off before looking at me "hey why do you look like an inkling?" He ask me "I don't know it was that stupid serum I took and it turned me into this I said becoming a squid for some reason but it felt strange to do but it felt normal "hehe wow that's cool did that serum change you into an inkling or are you still a human" he asked me "I'm halfbreed freak" I say bluntly "oh don't be like that" he said to me "*sigh* ok but we got to get out of here now I'm sure that ink affects me now we need to be more careful" I say as the banging got louder "HEY WERE KNOW YOUR IN THERE COME OUT AND WE WILL SPARE YOU" one of the octarians "sir do you want me to activate the sprinklers in the main hallway" dovah asked "yes" I said to him as he activated it and I hear the octarians question the water I then open the door and throw an electroshock grenade and close the door as I hear the octarians scream I could only imagine that scene from one of the metal gear games when raider say's 'I am lighting the rain tranformed' I said to my self the octarians then stop screaming and I open the door to see water and ink on the floor " that is a lot of ink" I say to the others I pick up rose

After getting to the top floor we got out I hear rose start talking in her sleep "b-but I don't want to leav" she then shot up looking around before looking at me and hugging me and I just embrace it "Leo what the hell is going on am-am I dead is it all over why do you look like that why....why are we still in the bunker?!" she asked me freaking out before I placed her down she then looked down at her hands "why are my fingers so stubby why am I so short why are you short what's happening?!!" She said freaking out I put my hands on her shoulder "rose calm down my dad saved you but your a different species now" I tell her "a different species what are yo" she cuts herself off looking behind me and see glasses and rider she then looks back at me "what are those things" she asked me "they are called inklings and others are called octolings and now the only way to save you my father turned you into an inkling a pretty cute one if I say so myself" I said the last part sloping from my thoughts and into my mouth but rose didn't notice what I said because she's getting her being a different species through her head "I died?" She said questionably "yeah but my dad saved you" I said she just hugs me "oh thank god you're ok" she said to me as I just smile as rider and goggles watched this little reunion of ours "yeah that's great you two love birds but we ain't got the time let's hurry before more Octarians show up" rider tells the two of us shoving us out of the way "wow screw you too prick" rose says to rider "sorry that's how he is" goggles tell rose "and you are?" Rose ask goggles nicely " oh I'm goggles nice to meet you" he say's to her "nice to meet you goggles I'm rose" she says to goggles " and that's rider and we're agents of the new squid-beaksplatoon" goggles tells rose "oi what did I tell you oh forget it!!" Rider yelled to goggles before giving up and walking out of the facility "well let's go see this new world together" rose says to me as we walk towards the exit goggles ran in front of us. "Yeah together" I smile before blushing
