Characters: Jimin, Jirim (OC)

"Bye Jirim" Jimin cheerfully said as I watched him walk out of the door. Another normal day of work. Jimin with his dance classes and me with my book.

Everything was going well for the two of us, with Jimin's succesful dance classes and my best selling books, we may seem to be one of those perfect couples everyone's jealous about, but...things change.

The kettle from the kitchen whistled as I locked the door. Nothing like a good cup of tea to start my day.

Park Jimin, how do I begin to decribe him...ah, yes. He's short, but in a cute way. Kind, loving, sweet, and basically anything you can ask for a boyfriend...well, not really. Nothing is perfect they say, same thing goes with Jimin. Had we not met on that day, on the day I was in a bookstore, secretly signing some of my books (just a little gift for the readers), had he not bumped on to me, making my pen drop. Then I wouldn't know the feeling of being betrayed.

It only took him 6 months.

I've been writing my new book for about 7 now.

And of course it's about him.

The first days, that fated day where he shamelessly asked me to get lunch, why did I agree. I probably found him cute, a mistake the past me often did. Why does every person who's an eye candy manage to get everything they want? Then I realized...I was eye candy too.

I agreed because I found him cute, but I mostly agreed because I was interested. I've never been asked out before this way. I was often "courted" during formal parties, book launches, those kinds of boring events. And he made me feel warm inside, as if my cold heart suddenly melted for this boy.

I honestly did fell for him, I did. I loved him and I thought he did too.

After pouring the hot water onto my cup, I dumped the tea bag in and went to my writing space.

This is the story, a brief one sadly, of Jirim and Jimin. The perfect couple.

Waking up to the sound of my very annoying alarm tone wasn't the ideal way to wake up, but I won't be able to even open my eyes without it.

Today I plan to go to the bookstore. Sign a few of my books, there's no harm in that. So I quickly dressed up, expecting a normal day ahead of me.

You all know the story....

Good looking guy bumps into me, I drop my things, he sees me, I see him, he asks me out, and I accepted. Those type of cliches.

The date went well, if you were curious. It was the typical coffee shop scene, where both of the characters slowly get to know each other, having fun and eventually falling into the trap.

We kept seeing each other this way. Lunch together in the same restaurant until we became really good friends. Until the third week, a Wednesday to be exact, he invited me to go to his dance studio. I had said the previous day that I was curious about his job so I guess he thought of actually bringing me there. So I did.

I opened the door to his office (since he owns the place) and saw him sitted behind a dark wood desk. He wore this white button down shirt with a black necktie. I remembered this moment quite clearly because he looked very, VERY attractive. He was already staring at me, like he was waiting for me the whole time. The idea made my heart flutter to be honest.

"Jirim-" he said as he stood up. "-let's have lunch here"

"Sure" I said with a hint of confusion. Where were we going to get the food? But that was soon answered as he pulled out a lunch set, neatly packed in boxes.

"Whoa, did you made these yourself?"

"No, I just bought them down the street" he laughed. "They only serve take out and plus their food is hella good, so I invited you to eat here"

So we ate.

He told me about his dance classes and I told him about my books. We hung out longer than we usually do. But after 5 long hours I stood up and said goodbye. As soon as I had my fingers around the doorknob, Jimin called me. I turned around, feeling his hand around mine. "I forgot to tell you something..."

When my hand was off the doorknob, he spun me around, ending up in a gentle embrace. Our faces were literally an inch apart, and he took advantage of that distance as he went nearer, making our lips meet.

And pretty much my life was all fairy tale happiness from that point.

He'd take me out to dates, and we probably made out almost everyday. Until I moved in with him after a month or so.

And here we are. Almost a year of living together and still pretending to love each other...well, I wasn't.

I typed in the last words that would complete my next best selling book (hopefully).

My published book, almost to be put out to the public, finally arrived on my door. A sample copy for the author, and of course for my Jimin.

After getting the copies from the mailman, I closed the door and looked at my watch. Only an hour left before Jimin comes home.

I placed one of the copies in my bag. All packed up ready to leave, and the other copy on the carefully set dining table. I placed it on the middle and opened it to the page I wanted him to read first. Of course I want him to read the whole book, but he knows what happens.

After checking if I had everything I took a last look around the place and closed the door.

It was the anniversary of the first day we ate lunch together and I wanted to surprise him, being a loving and cheesy girlfriend. So I went to his office in the dance studio to set up a simple lunch, a simple celebration really. He gave me keys to the dance studio incase of emergency so I easily got in. But as soon as I stepped on the wooden floor I felt something....off. I shook the feeling off and continued to walk to his office on the second floor. But I heard something that made me stop with my foot on the last step. I heard a voice.

I was sure it was a girl. The giggling made me sure. Now you may think I'm being paranoid but the small window on the door was what really made me sure.

I watched, with my heart silently being broken, as he stopped the girl from getting to the door. As he grabbed her hand and twirled her around, the both of them ending up in a embrace. Unwanted tears rolled down my cheeks as I saw their lips meet.
