Prom Date

Characters: Suga and Narnii (O/C)

"Hey Narnii, you going to prom?" one of my classmates asked. It was already the last class for today and our teacher didn't arrived yet, the class was in chaos to be honest.

"Uh yeah..." Prom was just a week away, how could I forget?

"So...who are you going with?" my classmate teased me, poking my arm ,prying an answer out of me.

"No one I guess? Since I don't really know anyone that much except for you..." Oh right, I'm a new student. the new girl.I just moved here a few months ago. From Australia to Korea, that alone explains why I don't have a lot of friends and my Korean's a bit rusty too which also limits my interaction with my other classmates. 

"Aw, yeah...I forgot about that...It's fineee, you don't really have to go with someone. We can go together if you want! Hahaha" 

Except for her, she's the only one who bothered talking to me. "Sure why not?" I laughed.

The door slid open and in came our teacher.

We were already dismissed and both my friend and I were walking home. There was one thing I noticed while walking along the school's hallways, the school's gardens, and the school's plaza. For each place we pass through there seems to be a boy asking a girl out for prom. I don't really mind if someone asks me out or not so I just kept walking, looking around, amused at the things happening around me. 

We were already at the school's gate when someone stopped us. It was a guy, I recognized him. He was one of our classmates.

I now walked alone for my one and only friend who promised to go with me to prom was asked out. 

While I walked silently home, I felt a tap on my shoulder.

"Oh! Suga right?" I said after I turned around. He was panting, he probably ran or something.

"Uh, yes..." he answered between breaths. "I...I have something to say...or rather...ask"

"Okay..."

He reached inside his pocket and pulled out a...pen?

"Is this yours? Because I remember borrowing a pen from someone..." 

Oh right...I let him borrow a pen earlier I forgot. "Yup! That's mine, thanks!" He gave me the pen and thanked me for letting me lend him a pen.

"Oh and by the way...how do you know me?"  he asked. 

"I may be new to the school and all but I know about you and your friends...who doesn't?" Suga along with 6 other boys belong to this group, they call themselves bangtan and I have no idea why.

"Ahh....I guess you're right" He nodded to himself. "Well bye then...uh..."

"Narnii...My name's Narnii" I said as I held out my hand.

He just looked at it before he held it.

"Nice to meet you Narnii" he said as we shook hands. I think Suga doesn't know how to shake hands or if this is the way they shake hands in Korea, because from what I know, after shaking hands you were supposed to let go...but he didn't.

"Uh...I have to go now Suga, bye!" I let go of his hand as he did as well, the both of us went our own ways and went home.

A week had passed and I'm now seated in one of the tables, eating the free chips while the others danced and talked with their friends or dates. I was actually having fun despite my current state. The chips were good, the music is good too, and I like the dress my mom bought for me too. I got a number of compliments thanks to it.

I was having fun, singing along to the song while eating chips when someone walked beside me. 

"Narnii right? Our teacher wants to talk with you" 

I looked to my right and saw one of the bangtan members. Rap Monster if I'm not mistaken, the teacher's assistant. "Oh okay..." I stood up and followed him out of the room. 

We walked to the faculty room and expected him to stop there too, but we already passed by it and he still kept walking. "Um...the faculty room is over there..."

"I know I know, you're not really going to talk with a teacher..."

What?

We walked past a hall before we reached the next one. I saw Suga leaning against the lockers when Rap Monster walked past by him. "She's all yours"

I was about to follow RapMon but Suga blocked me. "Stay right here..."

"Uh...okay...." I watched him stand in front of me.He reached his hand inside his pocket and took out a....rose.

"Hahaha...I thought you were going to return a pen you borrowed" I joked. He looked a little shocked, a tint of red covered his face. He laughed but only for a short time before he went back to being serious.

"Narnii...I hope I'm not late....but it's better late than never right?" He gave me the rose and took my hand. "B-be my date for tonight?"

I gave a small nod before he gave me a sweet smile.
