Ratchet & Clank AU: The Black Knight.(No More Updates. Ideas On Last Chapter)

Chapter 11(18+)

(WARNING! CHILD HARM AND OTHER BAD STUFF. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!)

After the events on the space station, Ratchet and Clank flew towards the nearest planet. They didn't look where exactly they were going, as long as it was as far away from these Loki-lizard mutants as possible. Only when they got there did they see that they were in orbit of the water planet Rilgar, the self-proclaimed entertainment capital of the Solana galaxy. As soon as they saw this, the boys decided without any arguments that they could use some fun. So they started flying towards the planet, wanting to have some of it.

After a few minutes of flight, they saw the Blackwater city, the only city on this planet. It is located on a quite large island, which is the only one sticking out of the water. After all, the entire planet is completely covered by water.

The guys contacted the spaceport and received permission to land. After settling the ship and paying for a parking space, they headed into town.

The first thing they saw was the huge amount of neon lights there. Each building, small or large, had from a few to a dozen of them, each with a different advertisement. Civilians walked back and forth, playing, singing and drinking from their cups. Various types of music played from the speakers on the lamps, loud enough that Ratchet had to adjust his helmet to block out outside sounds. But that didn't stop him from having fun.

The guys had a great time for the next few hours. They went to a pub, saw a street concert, and even went to a hoverboard event which Ratchet took part in and took second place. So even though the sun had long since set, the city was still partying.

It's just a pity it didn't last long.

"Amoeboids! Run for your lives!" shouted one of the civilians, pointing his finger at the green slime creature emerging from under the sewage cover.

Even though they already had a few percent alcohol in them, our bounty hunters quickly saw what was going on. People were running everywhere, avoiding contact with the slime creatures. Without thinking, they grabbed their weapons and started shooting at them. Their plasma projectiles dealt with the creatures without any problems, although some of them duplicated after each hit, which made the fight longer.

After a while, the streets were completely empty, leaving only two bounty hunters with gelatinous monsters. Both sides continued to fight each other, although it looked more like the guys were playing Tower Defense mode in real life.

It didn't take long for a third faction to join the fight. They were robots dressed in yellow and black suits with gas masks. In their hands they held rifles, with small clouds of green smoke billowing from the barrels. The exterminators began fighting the Amoeboids by spraying their bodies with a gas that dissolved them.

Ultimately, the Exterminators' forces won and they dealt with the enemy quite quickly. Seeing this, Ratchet and Clank sighed in relief as they were almost running out of ammunition. They decided to approach the robots and thank them for their help.

However, when they got very close to them, the robots aimed their guns at our heroes.

"Woah, woah! Calm down, guys!" Ratchet shouted, raising his hands up, just like Clank. "We are on your side!"

The robot looked at them for a moment and then spoke.

"Minimal amounts of Amoeboid particles detected. Begin the extermination!"

Hearing this, the boys quickly hid behind covers. The constant attack from the Exterminators pinned them down and made it impossible to counterattack.

"So what now!?" Clank asked.

"You think I know?!" Ratchet replied.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, came the sound of a loud gunshot, followed by the sound of metal falling to the ground. The two bounty hunters leaned out from behind cover and saw that one of the Exterminators had lost its head and was lying dead on the ground. The robots looked at their companion and then began looking around the area, looking for the shooter. After a while, more Exterminators began to be killed. Their bodies fell to the ground, not knowing where the attack was coming from. The guys were also looking around for the shooter. It didn't take them long for this, because after a while they noticed a man wearing green armor with the Galactic Rangers logo on his chest standing on one of the buildings. In his hands he held a sniper rifle.
