Hey guys, as you know, I have had major writer's block on this story. I looked back and realized I did not like the way this chapter went, so I'm gonna fix it! Love ya'll!

Chapter Ten

"Damn it! It won't work!"

Dr. Stone slamed a fist down on his laptop, the screen full of scans of Emma Jonas. He was trying to put her power into one capsule, a capsule that would release it into the air, making everyone have her power.

Did it seem crazy? Yes, but it wasn't. The Doctor was simply trying to create a world without weakness, a world without people feeling like they're nothing. What's so bad about that?

It seemed as if he wouldn't reach that goal...when it hit him. He needed the girl, here, to do it. He needed the power from her fresh. He wasn't a bad guy, he didn't want to hurt her, but he knew this was the only way. That's when he called his men.

"Bring me Emma Jonas. Safe."

I spent the rest of the night on the couch, watching some sappy-ass movie about romance and crap. Except, it wasn't crap, it was something I wanted for a long time. Having a boyfriend, having Andrew, would be a bit problematic, but it would also make the trouble less...troubling.

I rolled my eyes and turned the T.V. off, it was the right thing to turn down Andrew. He didn't need the stress of my life to weigh down his..even though he has been with me almost throughout this whole event. Who was I kidding? I just wanted my best friend back.

I sighed as I walked through the foyer and made my way to the stairs. Just as I put my foot on the first step, there was a heavy knock on the door. Usually, I don't answer...but the hope that it was Andrew overtook me as I ran to the door and opened it.

As my bad luck predicted, it wasn't Andrew. Instead, I was faced with a man in all black, even a black ski mask on his head.

"Is this some type of new paparazzi trend?" I questioned, leaning on the door. "Because I think red is more of a 'Stalking' color."

Just then, the masked man grabbed my arm firmly as he pulled out a washcloth. Okaaaay, definetly not a paprazzi! Quickly, I sprung into action using a force field to push him back, as planned, he fell back onto the pavement. I kept him pressed down onto the ground, then quickly let him go as I closed the door, locking it behind me.

What the hell is going on?! I dashed up the stairs, taking my phone out in the process. Out of habit, I dialed Andrew first, lucky me, he answered just as I made it onto the second floor.

Andrew: Yes?

My breathing came out in gasps as I struggled to tell him about my intruders, as always, my antics alarmed the boy.

Andrew: Emma?! What's wrong?

Emma: I...think...someone is....trying to-AH!

Just as I was telling him my suspiciousions, TWO masked man broke Nick and Joe's bedroom window, the rooms I was standing between in the hall. Well, isn't this perfect? I could hear Andrew screming, asking me what was happening.

I didn't have time to answer him. I threw my phone down just as the two men ran to grab my arms, using a force field to block them. I then did my newst move, a jump air kick to the one of my right, then a classic punch to the one on the left.

The two obviously being trained fighters, only stumbled back. So, I gave both of them one last force push, pushing them into the rooms they came out of. Quickly, I picked up the phone.
