The boys return! Plus, Andrew and Emma head out to meet his Uncle.
Sorry if it's short, the next chapter (which I'm working on) is going to be pretty long, haha. Enjoy lovelies!
Chapter Four
I stood on top of the stair case, watching as the driver and Big Rob loaded in the boy's suitcases. Nick and Kevin hugged my Mom while Joe picked up Frankie and spun him around. I sighed, there was no way I was going down there. I was probably the last person on their mind anyway.
I turned around to head back to my room but instead ran into Andrew's chest. Jeez, his chest is as hard as a brick wall! Moments like this is when I miss Andrew's old jelly-like physique....curse him for getting into sports. I bit my lip as I look up at his skeptic look, Andrew had always wanted my brothers and I to get along again. Just like old times.
"I, uh, left something in my room." A nervous laugh escaping my lips.
"Uh-huh, and what is that exactly?" He asked, crossing his arms over his chest.
"My diginity...?" I gave a small smile. He just pointed his finger toward the downstairs area. I groaned. "Alright, alright. I'm going."
Andrew grinned in spite of his self as he gave me an encouraging pat on the back. Okay, maybe it would've been more encouraging if I didn't shrug it off. I slowly made my way down the stairs, picking my nails (an awful habit my mom wants me to kick) as I did.
Kevin looked up from talking to Mom just in time to see me reach the bottom floor. He smiled widely as he ran over to me.
"There she is!"
I plastered my over-used fake smile as he picked me up and spun me around, hugging me tightly. Ugh, I knew Kevin meant well, he always does, but when will he realize I'm not four years old anymore?
"How are ya, Kev?" I asked after he put me down.
Kev? Since when do I call Kevin...Kev?! I could almost hear Andrew stifling a laugh from the top of the stairs. He's lucky. If I was closer to him, I would use a force field to push him into a wall. Kevin just shot me a curious smile.
"I'm alright...how about you, Em?" He asked, obviously trying to play the nickname game as well.
I just nodded. "I'm great." I then gestured to Joe and Nick. "You all look great!"
Wow, when did I get so lame around my brothers? Granted, I was lame all the time, but the funny kind of lame, y'know? I'm the 'Lame' that turns awkward situations into a joyous time, not the 'Lame' that causes them.
"At least we don't look as bad as we feel." Nick sighed, "We should be on the road right now."
"Do you really want to discuss this now, Nicholas?" Joe rolled his eyes at his brother.
The two looked like they were about to get into a brawl. Jeez, whatever happened on the road must've sucked. I've never seen Joe and Nick want to get in a fight. Luckily, my mom spoke up just in time.
"Boys! Now's not the time to be fighting, the whole reason why you're here now is to get a better attitude-"You mean for Joe to get a better attitude." Nick interrupted, pointing at his brother.
Soon, the front room became the battleground for a Jonas Brother Brawl. Joe and Nick went at it with their verbal insults while Kevin and mom tried to seperate the two. I turned back around to face the staircase, Andrew had his fist in front of his mouth, watching the action. I made a motion for him to come downstairs, maybe the prescene of a guest will make the boys stop.
