Craftycorn and Catnap hurried back to Playcare, the colorful chaos of the playground greeting them. Craftycorn, still reeling from the escape plan's success, tried to catch his breath.
Catnap gripped Craftycorn's arm, urgency in her voice. "We need to find Dogday. He's in danger, I can sense it."
Craftycorn nodded, his stutters less pronounced in his determination. "Let's split up and cover more ground."
As they navigated the playground, Bubba and Kickin spotted them and approached with menacing glares.
Bubba's voice was a low growl, "What are you two doing back here? Catnap belongs in jail!"
Craftycorn squared his shoulders, standing his ground. "We're here to warn Dogday. He's in danger."
Kickin chuckled darkly, "Danger? From you two? We'll make sure he stays away from you."
Catnap's eyes flashed with a dangerous gleam. She hissed, "Stay out of our way, or you'll regret it."
Bubba and Kickin exchanged glances, unsure of Catnap's threat. Nevertheless, they stepped aside, allowing Catnap and Craftycorn to continue their search.
Catnap hummed a lament for Dogday's safety as they moved deeper into Playcare, their mission clear: to protect the one that Dogday loved most.
