Showdown Part I - Cuphead?

A rift opens above the Inkwell Isles..
Causing 3 figures to fall from it, along some weird flying things.

Wait, are those eyes flying?

The 3 figures land on the Isle. Another one falling as well, but to a distant Isle.
(Inkwell Isle 4)

But let's focus on these three first.
Edd, Matt and Tom all fell on the island hard.

They got up one by one, clutching where it hurts the most.

Tom:"Ugh.. That was definitely a soft landing."

Matt:"Are you being sarcastic?"

Tom:"Figure it out. Wait no, nevermind. You're too much of a dumbass to figure it out, yes I am."

Edd:"Pfft.. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Matt:"Hahah, very funny Tom. I'm just gonna pretend I didn't hear that part.

Also, can you stop laughing Edd? It was not THAT funny."

Edd:"Hah.. Well, it was that funny. Let's be honest."

Matt:"No, it wasn't."

Edd:"Yes, it was."

The two argued back and forth, after a while it only stopped as they felt pellets being shot at them.

.. Nevermind, it did not stopped. They kept on going, not even bothered by the pellets.

Tom, however was confused about their behaviour.

Tom:"What..? You two not even going to.. Okay."

He ventured to where the pellets came from, and found two beings. Small beings, with a cup and mug for a heads.

The two beings shot at Tom with blue pellets, and later on... A hadouken?

Though, Tom showed no major damages, maybe a couple of bumps. But he also did feel slightly tired.

Tom:"Um, can you two stop that? It's annoying."

?:"Aw shucks Mugman! It looks like our attacks aren't working!"

Mugman:"You're right Cuphead! We need to run! We can't take this debtor on!"

Tom:"Debtor? I'm no debtor."

Cuphead:"No need to run Mugman! I got this!"

Cuphead floated in the air and spun, his head full of... something, aimed at Tom.

Tom:"What the fuck is in your head..? Is that sem-"

He was cut off as he was pushed back slightly as the liquid shot at him with great force.
