chapter 5 - unspoken feelings

"Seonsaengnim!"

I shake my head looking up at my students as I held a whiteboard marker in my hand

"Are you alright?"

Y/N - yes sorry. I was daydreaming myself

They laugh, while I let out a small smirk.

Student - do you get sleep Seonsaengnim?

Y/N - I did, don't worry about me. I just had a long night grading your papers

Student - sleep early tonight Seonsaengnim

Y/N - I will

I turn around to the whiteboard, scratching my head

Y/N - sorry, where were we?

I continued on with the class with the students muttering behind me, they treat me like a friend which is great because we aren't so well off from our ages anyways.

I was thinking about that night I had with Nat, after we hugged. She felt a bit too emotional so she suggested that I should sleep with her.

With friendly intent, I agreed and we slept together in my bed although my back was turned on her because I didn't impose any weird or off putting intentions.

It was an odd night but I guess it gave me an impression of her I never thought I would think of in a sense of my own personal feelings.

After the class, I went to the cafeteria joining Jisung beside him after I got my food

Jisung - what's up with you? You look down

I look to him, smirking while I give him a pat on the back

Y/N - I'm alright, just tired from last night

Jisung - what'd you even do last night?

Y/N - read an entire book and did the student's papers, though that took me till 2am last night and I'm usually an early sleeper.

I yawn, covering my mouth while I continued eating

Jisung - you didn't do anything but just that?

Y/N - mmhm, I don't do much in general.

Jisung - you live such a minimalistic life you know, do you even worry about anything?

Y/N - nope. Not really, I just live life as it goes by, payments don't scare me since I pay them on time, I don't have a relationship so I don't worry about someone, my family is all right so I don't worry about them. The only thing I worry about is just whether or not if I ate or not hahaha

I laugh, Jisung wraps his arm around my neck, he shakes me with the both of us smiling

Jisung - well you're one hell of a good kid

Y/N - thanks Hyung

Jisung - I should get you a girlfriend.

Y/N - pass, I don't need one.

Jisung - ah come on, where's the fun in that? I know one of my girlfriend's friend who single and she's the same age

Y/N - seriously, I'm fine.

Jisung - have it your way.

He unwraps his arm around my neck while we continued on eating.

After eating, I had a few minutes till class so I went outside, putting my hands in my pocket to gaze in the sun.

I found a little bench outside, sitting on it while I watched the students play.

It made me a little envious of what they were doing, even though I as a kid didn't do what they could, which was to have fun with other students. I was always so reclusive towards the other kids, not many of them would want to play with me or even kick a ball but I accepted it as it was until I reached my teens. I had found people who were alike but alas, it just never became the way I wanted it to be.
