chapter 35 - it's lonely without you.

My eyes bounced around the room, whistling to pass the time until I heard behind me,

The opening of the office door.

Hearing her groan as she walked in, sitting on her chair.

The contrast was there but I was like a child, just all relaxed on this bean bag.

Y/N - hm?

Suzy - just, I'm nervous.

Getting up from the beanbag, she rubs her temples with some pressure.

Walking to her, I put my arm around her, patting her shoulder as I hugged her standing up.

Y/N - it's okay.

Suzy - it's so close and yet so far.

Y/N - I know, I know, but it'll be worth it.

Suzy - I hope honey. I hope so.

Her head goes into my chest, wanting some comfort.

Soothing her gently with my hug which I hope was a bit of comfort for her.

The cafe was soon to open, we were finalising some parts of it together.

She wanted me to have some part of it, think of it as an immature prenup.

Which includes, funny enough. The furniture.

But hey, don't take my word for it.

She has access to most of the files so I don't know what I would receive,

But I don't really care that much because, I mean. It's her idea, her cafe so.

I'd be grateful if I could just get the chair or something.

I'm not worried though, I plan to marry her eventually.

Her forehead laid on the table, I stayed a bit quiet, unsure on what to say.

Suzy - I don't know if I got this honey.

Y/N - you do, okay? This will be amazing

Suzy - this is more stressful than when I was in Miss A and I was the maknae.

Y/N - I-

Not sure what to say to that, since I can't relate at all.

Y/N - uhm- hey, at least we're together right?

Her head slightly goes up, looking at me.

Suzy - yeah... that's right. I have you as a worker too.

Y/N - yeah.

My hand went from her shoulder to her hair, slightly caressing it.

Y/N - we're gonna work our butts off, we're gonna make it.

Suzy - even if it isn't that successful, we still have each other to support.

Y/N - exactly, we'll be fine. By the way, who are the other workers?

Suzy - just a friend of mine, the one I was talking about last time?

Y/N - mmhm, her. So, she accepted?

Suzy - she did. She's working with me alongside in the back where we're gonna be baking and making the drinks.

Y/N - what about register?

Suzy - you and another friend I hired, she's only a teenager so be nice to her.

Y/N - oh? How come you got a teenager to work here?
