Bonding

Rimuru are walking around the house, he open a sliding door which revealed the backyard

'This really look like a traditional japanese house..' he take a few steps and slide the door behind him closed as he sat down on the edge of the terrace.

Infront of him a land of grass with some small trees, a stone steps connected the terrace to the small pond.

'This kinda remind me of grandma and grandpa's house... I wonder how are they now, i promised to visit on summer break but seem like i can't fulfill it huh..'

A soft wind breeze along with the sound of birds chirping making Rimuru to slowly slip out of his mind as his sight turn blurry, but his peace are destroyed by a loud explosion.

"What the heck is that??" Rimuru quickly get up and analyzed his surrounding, his eyes fall on a tiny wood house on the corner of the yard. He didn't bat an eye on it before due to the nostalgia, but now he can see smoke coming out from it.

'Fire?'

He sprinted to the wooden cabin and within a second he's already right infront of the door, he slammed the door open expecting to see something burning. Not Shion trying to put out fire by fanning it with a wooden tray

"Shion" Hearing her name being called out Shion jumped causing her to drop the tray on her hand causing the fire to grow even bigger to the point where it start to transfer to the wall.

"Holy shit!" Rimuru quickly pulled Shion away from the wild fire as he shot out some water from his palm.

"Ah ha..." Shion laughed awkwardly as she scretched her cheeks "ups"

Rimuru turned his head without moving his body even an inch with some dark aura flowing out from his back "never do that again"

"Yes sir!!!" Shion immediately repair her posture as she saluted Rimuru like one of those traumatised soldier which really don't give a shit about the whole military thing.

Rimuru let out a tired sigh as the devillous aura slowly dissolved into this air, he message his temple "what are you trying to do anyway?"

Shion froze in place, her hand still not moving an inch from her forehead "Shion?" Slowly Shion's whole body turned red from his toe nail all the way up to her hair 'what in the cartoon logic?'

"Well well uhh" Shion's body start moving like an malfuntioned robot before she spun around his her back facing Rimuru, she play around with fingers "you see its... Uh..." Her feet start wobbling around.

'What is this? Those cringy heroine cliche? It looked pretty cute on comics, but damn looking at it for real looked weird as hell'

"I wanted to do something for lord Rimuru..." This sentence slammed Rimuru back to earth from his daydreaming.

"Huh?"

Shion spun around "i mean!" Her eyes widen before she quickly straighten her posture and take step back to distance herself from the boy "i mean... You see" She now start to roll her hair around her finger.

"Lady Shuna can take care of lady Ririna for lord Rimuru... Benimaru and lord Rimuru train together everyday, and Souei... Well" She paused for a solid minute

'Now that she mentioned it... Souei just kinda dissapeared from the story after the class competition... The author clearly isn't fond with him it seemed'

Shion bend her back causing her face and Rimuru to become much closer "Souei is Souei! But i can't do anything!" She then straighten her posture again "so i wanted to atleast cook a meal for lord Rimuru but..." Tears start forming in her eyes

'... Simp.'

"I see... Alrighty then" This caused Shion who's been staring down the floor to look up and are met with a grinning Rimuru who's rolling up his sleeves "let's make something for the others shall we?"

Benimaru took a big bite from the rice ball on his hand, he let out a muffled sound once the taste finally reach him "it's good!" He announced before taking another big bite.

"It really is" Shuna agreed with her brother before she took another rice ball from the plate. Souei simply nodded.

Shion stand up from the blanket that they are using as a cover for them to sit, she puff out her chest and let out a snicker "why of course! Lord Rimuru and i make it ourselve!"

Beneath another tree which are smaller from the one that's covering the ogrees from the sun, sat a siblings eating the exact same rice ball.

"Nii-san this tasted weird..." Ririna complained, but she still munch down the rice ball slowly, all Rimuru can do is force out a laugh.

"Well Shion kinda... Give me a hard time" He scratch the back of his head as he look up to the sky, he stopped moving for a few seconds.

Ririna finally let out a giggle which caused Rimuru to get back to earth "now what are you laughing at?"

She shook her head, she then take another rice ball as she kneel up and hold the rice ball right infront of Rimuru's face, Rimuru took a bite from the rice ball as Ririna sat back down and took a bite from the same rice ball.

"It's just that, nii-san looked really happy" A gust of wind at the right moment.

'Look who's talking'

Rimuru couldn't help but pat his sister's head, he didn't say anything, he just rest his hand there as he once again look up at the blue clear sky.

"Oh and, Lady Shuna teached Ririna a lot of things! She even taught Ririna how to make a flower crown, and then she also teach Ririna about some tradition from another country, like did nii-san knew that there's a country where they didn't have a king? Ririna mean, they have a king, but instead of it being pass down the civillian vote who's going to be the king instead" Rimuru let out a soft giggle.

"Hm, that sound pretty interesting" He ruffled Ririna's hair a little before finally take another rice ball from the wooden plate.

Ririna who's still chewing her food let out an excited sound as she nodded, before she even swallow the whole thing inside her mouth she continued "and lady Shuna said that having light and dark element are impossible since they are the complete opposite of each other, and the demonlord didn't create magic of creation by combining the two, instead it's some ancient power that's been lost in time"

"Hey don't forget to breath.." With this Ririna stopped talking and finally finish the rice in her mouth, of course after that she went on a whole paragraph stories either way with Rimuru just sitting beside her, her chin resting on the palm of his hand.

'It's kinda weird that this Ririna only spawn whenever no one else is around... Kinda like a secret mob in a video game.. Oh well, this is quite the peace i needed'
