Now the two are inside a carriage, Rimuru pulled out a letter, it has a fancy looking symbol stamped on the bottom of it.

"Rimuru Tempest and Ririna Tempest, the king had recommended for you two to study at the Academy. Ririna however will need to pass a test since she isn't at age to start education yet.

We await for your arrival.
Principal Gazel"

"Nii-san what if Ririna failed the test.." Ririna chirped, she keep her eyes on the ground. Rimuru quickly put the letter back into the envelope and went over to sit beside his sister.

"Then we will both go back to our home" He answered straight to the point as he pat Ririna's head. Ririna smiled wildly at him for his reply.

'I really do hope she will fail, but really i don't think that's possible remembering how gifted she is.'

Finally the carriage stopped moving, Rimuru glanced outside through the window "and would you look at that, we have arrived"

A big building that looked more like a grand castle made with premium stone Rimuru like to call it.

'Back then i'm alone since i never met the king while raiding a dungeon, i get in because my uncle from afar told me to find an fiance so i can finally take over the duke title'

Rimuru open the door and get down, he then helped Ririna get down and get their luggage, he thanked the carriage driver and slowly the carriage left the scene.

'If my memory still work perfectly then this castle used to be the deceased demon lord's castle. After the hero killed him or more correctly sealed him they renovate it here and there and then build a school and named it as the heroes academy'

"Let's visit the principal first shall we?" Rimuru extended his hand once he realized how fidgetty Ririna had gotten probably because of her nervousness.

Ririna take his hand but didn't say anything. With that they make their way into the academy.

'This place are really empty.. Well it's break time after a whole semester so i guess it's expected. Wait... Wtf is the principal doing still at school??'

Rimuru shook his head to get the useless thought out of his mind "whatever" Rimuru murmured to himself, but apparently he said it loud enough for Ririna to hear.

"Nii-san?" Rimuru looked down to the little girl still holding onto his hand tighly "it's nothing" Ririna didn't ask anymore, Ririna had realized Rimuru have this weird habit of talking to himself, before she knew it she has grow accustomed to it.

Before they know it they already arrived in front the big wooden door which usually are the door toward the last boss's room in RPG games Rimuru used to play during his second life.

He knocked the door twice "pardon us principal Gazel, it's Rimuru and Ririna Tempest" A second later he hear a deep voice telling them to enter. He did as told and open the door.

Almost immediately he's met with a big man with full body armor sitting on the table right in the middle top of the room. Huge wooden desk full of papers infront of him.

'Oh so that's why he's at school'

Rimuru bowed down, Ririna quickly followed "good afternoon principal Gazel"

He hear heavy metal sound clashing against each other which tell him that the man has moved "raise your head, no need to be formal"

Rimuru raised his head as he's told, he can finally see the principal more clearly, his tanned skin and black bear is something Rimuru used to see only from afar back then.

"Sit down" Gazel signed to the chair infront of his table with his eyes and then he sat back down as Rimuru tailed by Ririna make their way over to Gazel's desk "i put my upmost trust for the king but still, since it's againts the regulation for a 8 year old child to enter the academy, a test to prove her capability is mandatory" He explained while he pull a piece of paper out of the drawer of his desk.

'Seem like he's making sure i won't tell the king about this test huh?'

"I will start the test" And with that he start reading the paper not caring how Ririna are practically sweating bucket at the moment.

"What are the primary elements of magic?" Rimuru feel a little relieved as the question are pretty easy.

"Oh uhm, fire, water, wind and earth that can be combined with one another to create secondary element. There's also two element which stand alone and can't be combined with other element which are light and dark" Seem like Ririna panicked and explained it way too detailed.

Gazel shifted his gaze from the paper to Ririna, this make Ririna tensed up even more "can you tell me some of the secondary element and from what element they consist of"

"Ah yes.. Uhm water and wind can be combined to create ice element, water and earth combined creates plant element and" Gazel's laugh stopped Ririna in the middle of her answers

"Now tell me young lady, is it true that light and dark can't be combined?"

"No, that's just what the text book said, looking back milleniums ago the demon lord are able to combine light and wind to create lighting element, it is also said that he's also able to combine light and dark element to make the power of creation" Rimuru can feel his eyes going round, he didn't expect Ririna to shift from being so timid to being really confident when she starts talking about demon lord.

"There's also evidence that people from millenniums ago are able to combine dark with water to create poison with magic, also the eternal flame created by one of the demon lord's subordinate that are still burning until now are also predicted to be made by combining dark and fire element" Another laugh of delight can be heard from Gazel.

"Okay you have proven yourself worthy young lady, we welcome the two of you into this school"

"Well seem like principal Gazel liked you" Rimuru commented as they make their way to the dormitory. The sun already set since Ririna and Gazel talked for hours about the demon lord and some history.

'It is said that principal gazel and the king are humans that have lived from millenniums ago, they fought the demon lord beside the hero but are cursed by the demon lord with immortality, so i guess it won't be a suprise if principal Gazel know a lot about history'

"Alright then this is your dorm" Rimuru stopped once he finally spot a room with the same number as the one on the key Gazel gave him, he unlocked the door and put Ririna's bag on top of one of the bed.

'Now this some fancy school, each student get one dorm..' Rimuru recall how most of the school in his second life consist about 4 people.

"Okay then, you remember my room number right? It's just a stair down. I will wait for you at the stair" Ririna simply nodded, she gave Rimuru a quick hug before he left.

'I forgot how adorable she is... Sadly i didn't have any sibling in my second life'
