Sports Festival

A big stadium filled with god knows how many people, in the middle of the stadium stand two people standing face to face with a old man with a horn separating them.

Rimuru looked up to a big room in the middle of the stadium seats, he saw a familiar guy with crimson red hair staring at him with a smile which for some reason tick him off.

'So this festival is really what he meant huh?'

Rimuru shook his head as he lower his head to be met with a pair of black eyes staring at him.

'If i'm not wrong some lower nobles which wanted to enter in military reinforcement used this as an opportunity to show themself off in hope for a military family to give them an invitation to join their force.... Wait this sounded almost exactly like that one anime... Uh what's the name? Academy of heroes? Hero academy?... Whatever, let's just try to put up a show for this poor dude'

Rimuru lower his stance as Hakurou raised his hand halfway, he glanced at him and then at the other student before he raise his hand fully "begin"

"I give up" His opponent raised both of his hand as he let his sword drop to the ground.

"Eh?"

'... I got to the finaly.... Without fighting ANYONE' Rimuru rest his forehead on both of his hands in his seat while they wait for the next contestant to enter the field. Something shake his shoulder pulling him back to earth.

He looked down and found Ririna who pointed to the field "Nii-san look! It's sir Benimaru and sir Souei!"

'Oh, these two get to the quarter final! Well i ain't that shocked about Benimaru, but i barely ever seen Souei using a sword'

Rimuru leaned to the front a bit so he can get a clearer view, he saw the two, Benimaru already at his stance while Souei just stood there.

"Begin" Right at the very moment Hakurou announced this word Souei disappeared into thin air, Rimuru stood up from his seat and lean to the seat infront of his.

'Oh! He's using dark magic just like Ririna!'

"Ririna did you taught Souei your trick?" Rimuru didn't shift his gaze away from the field which Benimaru are standing alone looking left and right for the blue haired ogre.

"No, Ririna never teach Souei, Souei is the one who teach Ririna"

'Well i mean if you look closely, Souei are much harder to spot than Ririna, so i guess it make sense'

Even though Rimuru could barely see it, but he can still see a glimpse of Souei here and there, it seemed that Benimaru has the same case as he's able to block all of Souei's attack this far.

'If he could keep this up then he might win, but still... Slowly he's becoming more and more visible, unlike Ririna who has more than enough mana to turn invisible for a whole day, Souei barely had any for more than 1 hour, and since it seemed like he used this trick since the first round then he won't be able to keep this going for much longer'

And as he had expected Souei become visible again as he jumped to Benimaru ready to attack the red haired Ogre, Benimaru who saw Souei quickly spun his body and blocked the attack.

This caused Souei to jump back and leave a big opening for Benimaru which he didn't missed. He jumped forward and swing his sword again Souei's causing a loud bang as the sharp end of an wooden sword fall down to the ground.

"Benimaru win" With this announcement the crowd on the back errupted, Rimuru turn to look back to the highest row and find the crowd which are now cheering mostly has horn.

'Ogres? Oh, they're here to support Benimaru and the others huh?'

Rimuru turned again once he heard a happy squeal from his sister which are now clapping happily "you seem pretty entertained" Rimuru commented.

Ririna stopped clapping and glance up at Rimuru before she lock her gaze back to the field "Nii-san's fight is not cool like sir Benimaru and sir Souei" He could feel a sharp sword just stabbed through his heart hearing the comment.

'Well excuse me for being goddamned OP that everyone gave up before we even start fighting!!'

He shifted his gaze to Benimaru instantly, his silver hair with blue hint start flowing around.

Benimaru feel something cold run down his spine "goodluck" Benimaru regretted that he dive for Souei's sword instead of his face now.

Now two girls are facing eachother with a wide gap between them, one much shorter and look younger than the other one "miss Shuna!" Ririna happily wave her hand.

"Lady Ririna, please go easy on me okay" Shuna announced as she bow down, Ririna stopped waving her hand as she nodded cheerfully.

"Begin" Hakurou announced. Shuna quickly extend both her hands and with that a bright light which seem to be trapped inside of a ball appeared on her hand.

"Here i go" Shuna announced before she gently pushed the ball, slowly as it got closer to its target it grow bigger and bigger.

'Well it looked strong, but...'

"Her level are way too low" Rimuru nearly shriek when he heard a familiar low voice. Guy snickered as he just managed to sneak up on the strongest man in the moment

'This dude... He enjoyed my reaction didn't he?'

"You shouldn't let your guard down" Guy cross his leg while he rest his chin on the back of his hand.

"Well pardon me for being focused on my sister that's probably going to be blasted by a giant light ball" He rolled his eyes as he shifted his attention back to the field where the light ball are just a few inches away from the little girl.

Ririna raise her hand as a black tornado which one of its end are attached to the palm of her hand, once it got in contact with the light her black tornado start to eat the light ball until it's completely consumed by the black tornado.

Ririna raise her other hand up to the air as the exact same light ball slowly grow on top of her hand "should Ririna throw this back??"

Shuna who can't shift her eyes from the light ball she had created herself has decided to change its master before she take a deep breath "i surrender"

With that the light ball lose its shape as it merge back with the sunlight "Ririna Tempest win"

'That attack would be really dangerous if it's shot to someone with lower level and mana, but Ririna far extent Shuna in those two for now'

"Nii-san!" Ririna called out as she spun and wave both of her hand to a specific crowd where she can see two person she's familiar with "oh..." She stopped waving for a second before continuing again "sir Guy!"

Rimuru wave back at his sister, he hear the seat beside him creak "leaving?"

"Your sister just blew my cover" Guy waved at Rimuru without turning around as a few people with full armor ran to him and surround him as the quickly leave the crowd.

Rimuru are about to go out to the field as he pass ways with Ririna "amazing as always" Rimuru patted his sister's head without stopping his steps.

"Uhm!"

"I apologize onii-sama" Shuna bowed as she saw her brother appearing from the dark hallway.

"You did a good job" Benimaru patted Shuna's shoulder as he went pass her.

"Please try to avoid injuries as much as you could"
