Double-bladed

It had been a week, nobody had come to interrogate me, the only person I saw once in a while was a Stormtrooper, I am not sure if it was the same one every time, since they all look the same.

He didn't talk to me, he just came to hand me some food and check if I was still alive. I felt lonely, I had nobody to talk to. Although loneliness wasn't as bad compared to the torture I've been through.

Had he forgotten about me? He was probably on a mission to Coruscant, but it had already been a week since I saw him for the last time and told him about the location. Maybe something happened to him?

As I was lost in my thoughts, my cell door opened and a woman came into my cell. Darth Esvietis. She seemed irritated, had they found out the Jedi weren't in Coruscant? Was she coming to execute me? Where was Darth Vader?

"So, Jedi scum. You lied to us." She said, approaching me. I was sitting on my mattress, astonished and scared of what she would do to me. She was reckless and cruel, I would say I hated her even more than Vader, even though I only had to deal with her once.

"W... What do you mean? They weren't there?" I lied. She kneeled down in front of me to face me. From her expression, I could see she didn't believe a single word that just came out of my mouth.

"Shut up! You lied to us, who do you think you are!" She shouted at me. As she continued insulting me, I looked around, to see that her lightsaber was attached to her belt pretty close to my hand.

I knew this was my opportunity, so I rapidly grabbed it and clicked the button for it to light up. The red laser went directly through her body, right where her heart was located. Little did I know the lightsaber was double-bladed.

I saw the shocked look on her face as she slowly fell to the ground, she was instantly dead. I looked down at myself to see blood, not her blood but my own blood, coming from my left shoulder.

The second red laser from the double-bladed saber was piercing through my arm causing me a lot of pain. I was shocked. The injury and the blood loss were slowly causing me to faint. I quickly pressed the off button of the lightsaber, before falling on my mattress, about to gain unconciousness.

With my last strength I managed to witness Darth Vader entering the room. When he saw Darth Esvietis dead on the ground, he looked over to me. He walked over to me in a rush, putting one hand on my wound to stop the bleeding.

"We need medical attention in cell number 4! Quickly!" He yelled.

Then everything became blurry, and I slowly started closing my eyes before completely fainting.

POV: Darth Vader

"Stay with me, Lillian, talk to me." I tried to talk to her, I couldn't let her die like this. She was losing a lot of blood, and my hand wasn't enough to stop the bleeding.

I looked around the room trying to figure out what had happened, to see that I was kneeling in blood. The whole floor and mattress were full of it, I couldn't tell which one was Darth Esvietis blood and which one's hers.

Some centimeters next to Lillian I saw Darth Esvietis lightsaber, that must have been it. Lillian had probably grabbed it to defend herself without knowing it was double-bladed.

She did some real damage, not only to herself but also Darth Esvietis, who she had killed. Darth Esvietis was a colleague of me, although we went to multiple missions together, I never saw her as more than just an annoying brat. To be honest I kind of hated her. But she never seemed to notice that.

The medical droids arrived, I took a step back to let them do their work. I could have left the cell and let them do their job, but instead I stayed inside. I don't know what it was, but Lillian meant something to me. I had the opportunity to kill her multiple times before, but I couldn't help but think she would be useful to us.

Darth Sidious seemed to notice, so he must have told Darth Esvietis to kill her, while I was on a mission on Coruscant to find out Lillian lied to me. That dumb little Jedi.

"Lord Vader, we thought her injury wasn't as bad as it is, she needs to go to the medical bay, do you authorize this change of plans?" One of the medical droids informed me.

The chances to escape from the medical bay were a lot higher than the chances to escape from the cell. It was risky, Lillian could escape easily, that sector of the Death Star was barely guarded, regardless I couldn't let her die.

"Take her." I said, I saw her getting transported to the medical bay, following right behind the stretcher she was laying in. Blood was dripping from her shoulder directly onto the floor.

While the droids took her into the operation room, I stayed outside, waiting for updates.

I had to tell Darth Sidious about this, he wouldn't be happy to find out Darth Esvietis died. Neither would he be happy when he finds out Lillian survived, if she does. I had to convince Darth Sidious that Lillian could potentially be useful for us.
