The Dinner

As we walked out of the little cell I had been stuck in for so long, I couldn't help but wonder where he was taking me.

I walked next to Darth Vader, followed by some Stormtroopers. They seemed to be informed about everything, even though Vader hadn't spoken to them. I looked up at Vader, he looked much more imposing and important compared to all of those Stormtroopers.

"W...where are we going?" I asked him with a trembling voice. Only thinking about what they would do to me if they'd find out I am an impostor send shivers down my spine. Thankfully, my mind block hadn't betrayed me, yet.

"We're going to have dinner. There, I'll introduce you to everybody as my new apprentice." He explained.

Dinner with whom? How many Sith are on the Death Star? A million questions started forming in my head, but I didn't dare to ask any of them. I figured I'd find out soon enough.

"But first you need to get changed." He continued.

This came unexpected, what was wrong with what I was wearing? The clothes he gave me after visiting Jabba's palace were simple and perhaps a bit dirty.

He guided me into a big room, there was an imposing king-size bed in the middle and loads of space around it, as well as a closet and a black leather sofa facing a big TV. I wasn't sure if this would be my room, but I surely wouldn't mind. Everything was made out of dark wood and black fabric, apart from that the room was perfect.

"Is this my new room?" I asked, a bit scared of what he would respond. I didn't want to sound spoiled, however after what he'd put me through, this was the least he could do.

"No, it's mine." He replied. Why would he bring me into his room? Where was mine?

"We didn't expect you to join us so soon, so your room isn't ready yet." He explained

As I was looking around the room, still wondering what I was doing in there, I felt a soft dab on my shoulder. I instinctively turned around in surprise to see Darth Vader holding a black dress in his hand. Somebody must have handed it to him while I wasn't looking.

"You can get changed in here, we'll wait outside." He spoke for himself and the Stormtroopers behind him.

They walked out of the room and I started to change into the dress Darth Vader had left on a chair next to his bed. The dress was gorgeous, I surely didn't expect it to look that good on me. The only inconvenience was the color, black, the color of the Sith, but I had to get used to it if I wanted to stay out of trouble.

The dress was revealing, although not too much. It was pretty elegant, but at the same time felt comfortable like a jumpsuit.

While Darth Vader and the Stormtroopers were still waiting outside, I looked around the room in search of a Comlink. Unfortunately, I couldn't find one, they must have taken them out before I came. A sign that they don't fully trust me.

"Are you ready?" I heard Darth Vader's voice say.

I stepped outside the room. I could feel Darth Vader's eyes wander over my body, as he said:

"Good, let's go."

Once we arrived in the big dining room, I debated all of my life choices. In the room were about fifteen old, scary looking men. All eyes were on Darth Vader and me as we walked into the room. I felt awkward and afraid of what was going to happen, of what lies I'll have to tell them.

We sat down on two empty chairs while fifteen pairs of eyes followed all of our moves. Darth Vader seemed to notice my distressing expression.

After eating a delicious meal, something I hadn't experienced since I had been captured by the Sith, Darth Vader stood up from his chair, announcing to everybody that he would like to speak.

"Good evening gentlemen, I know you're all curious about the young lady sitting next to me. Her name is Lillian Bershka, she is an ex-Jedi that did the right thing in joining us. She will be my new apprentice." He told them. I couldn't help but notice that Darth Sidious wasn't present. Was he too important to eat with them?

"That's great to hear, I almost thought you had finally found a wife, Vader." One of the men replied.

Wife?! Me, the wife of that arrogant monster?! He must have had too much wine. I would never marry that bastard of a man. He was a murderer!

"Well that is not the case sir." Darth Vader stated, sounding annoyed. However, he didn't have any reason to be indignated I hadn't done anything to him.
