Mika

When I saw Ella sitting there at Valentina's desk I went into panic mode. I got flashbacks what they have done to me what she had done to me. What her boyfriend had done to me. I'll never forget what they did that caused me years of trauma.

After Valentina signed those papers, I just took it and left I didn't trust myself to talk before I burst into tears.

I took a deep breath and packed my bag and grabbed my phone and made a beeline for the elevator not caring what Ms. Vitale would say of me leaving early, just wanting to go home and climb into bed and cry myself to sleep.

I walked into the elevator and pressed the lobby button and waited for the doors to close. When the doors open I made my way to my car and went home.

I opened the front door and closed and locked it behind me I can remember that Luca told me he's going to visit his parents and would be home late, so I'm alone for tonight which I'm very thankful for.

I walked to my room and put my work bag down beside my desk and put my phone on my bedside table. I went to my closet and grabbed fresh underwear and my pyjamas and went to shower.

I stripped out of my work clothes and threw them into my hamper and climbed into the shower. I quickly washed myself and climbed out and dried myself. I put on a fresh pair of boxers and my pyjamas and did my skin care routine and brushed my teeth and climbed into bed.

Flashback

I was walking down the hall ready to get lunch when I heard his voice.

"Hey dyke!" I turned around and saw Ben one of the jocks also Ella's boyfriend.

"Hi." He said with a menacing smile.

"Let's go for a walk." He grabbed me and try to get of his grip but I struggled against him. He was much taller and stronger than me. I was weak and couldn't fight back.

"Let's take a little swim." He said dragging me into the boys bathroom and went inside a stall to the toilet. I tried getting away, but I kept struggling against him.

"Please just leave me alone." I begged him to let go of me but he didn't listen, all my words fell to deaf ears.

I tried to move but he grabbed my collar and kicked the back of my leg making me fall to my knees. He flushed the toilet before sticking my head in.

I couldn't breathe and me struggling against him wasn't helping. He picked me back out.

"What's wrong dyke? Not going to fight back?" He grabbed my hair and stuck my head back in.

This time holding me under till I'm out of breath then pulled me back.

"Fight back Mika! What would your parents think huh?!" He laughed at me like a mad man.

"You're pathetic and weak!"

He put my head yet again back under and did the same before bringing me back up. I was gasping for air, my eye sight was blurry.

"Come on Mika! Fight me! Be the disgusting thing you are, and fucking fight me!" He screamed into my face.

"You're a fucking cunt." I mumble trying to catch my breath.

He hit me across the face with his fist and it hurt like a bitch.

"Stop being weak and fight back!"  He said.

I tried to stand up but he punched me in the stomach. He punched me in my face again even harder. I can feel the blood drip from my nose. He saw this and smiled at me.

"Let's clean that shall we." He pointed to my nose and grabbed me again and flushed the toilet again, he brought me back up again. He looked at my face for a second before he laughed and brought out a pocket knife out of his pocket and slashed a cut to my right eyebrow. I yelled out in pain and pushed him away from me.

"Aw did it hurt the freak?" He asked. I was scared that he had a pocket knife, he can kill me if he really wants to.

"Ben just please leave me alone." I said to him leaning against the stall door. His face turned red when he realised I'm not going to fight against him, he began to punch me repeatedly till I was trying to catch my breath on the floor. I was cold and wet and just wanted to go home.

"Get up you son of a bitch!" He screamed and kicked me in the stomach hard that I feel my one or two of my ribs crack.

I can't fight him back and he knows it.

"Fucking pathetic." He spat and kicked me one last time in my stomach before he left the bathroom.

End of flashback.

I didn't realise I was crying before I felt something wet on my arm. I sat up in my bed feeling depressed. I climbed out of bed and went to the bathroom and washed my face. When I walked out of the bathroom I heard the front door open, must be Luca coming from his parents.

"Hey homie, how was your day?" He asked me when he saw me standing in the hallway.

"It was good and yours?" I asked and went to the kitchen where he was. Hoping he wouldn't see my bloodshot eyes.

"Good my parents send their love to you, they say you must visit next time when I go to visit them again." I laughed at what he said.

His parents are also my parents since I was little, made me feel welcome and loved every time I would visit and sleepover at Luca's.

"Just tell me when and I'm there." He smiled at me and nodded.

"I'll see you tomorrow, goodnight." I said to him walking out of the kitchen. Luckily he didn't see I cried or else I would cry again.

"You too Mika." I heard him say behind me.

I closed my bedroom door and took my medicine and climbed back into bed and went to sleep.
