I could see Mika tense up when my brother mentioned her Doctor.

Mika left like five hours ago on her walk and still hasn't been back. I tried to call her and text her but she's not answering, she missed dinner and everyone is already asleep. It's two in the morning right now and I'm starting to worry about her.

As I was sitting on the couch waiting for her to come back, I feel my phone vibrate. Grabbing my phone I see Mika is calling me.

"Mika where the fuck are you!" I asked her with anger laced in my voice.

"Hey sorry for not answering the phone but I'm okay" She slurred her words.

What the fuck is she drunk right now. Why the hell would she get drunk?

"Are you drunk Mika?" I asked with a sigh.

"No, I just have a few drinks." She slurs.

"Send me your location right now, I'm going to pick you up!" I said and hung up on her.

After a few seconds she send me her location of the bar she was, I grabbed my keys of the car. Climbing into the car I drove off.

After half an hour of driving I arrived at the bar she was.

Why would she do this? Putting herself in danger and for what reason?

Climbing out of the car I locked it and headed inside seeing a few people left in the bar chatting away.

Seeing a drunk Mika sitting at a booth with some blonde chick. Walking up to them I hear half of their conversation.

"No, I'm not hooking up with you lady, I have a girlfriend that looks ten times sexier than you!" Mika said to the girl who looked pissed.

Walking up to Mika I tapped her shoulder, she looked up at me smiling wide when she saw me.

"Angel you came, see this is my girlfriend so you can shoo now." She said cutely. Hiding my smile that's about to form on my face. The blonde chick stood up with a scoff and left.

"Let's go home, it's late." I said pulling her up.

"Kay." She muttered with a adorable smile. I put her arm around my shoulder to support her and wrapped my arm around her waist walking us back to the car. Helping her get in and putting on her seatbelt, I walked around and got in the driver's seat and started the car and took us home.

Mika was telling me the whole car ride back at how that woman won't leave her alone and tried to hook up with her, but she declined and said she already have an amazing girlfriend, all I do is hum and listen to her rambling.

She was adorable when she's drunk, but why she got drunk tonight I still don't know and I want to know why.

Parking the car in the garage, I helped Mika back into the house up to our room, I let her sit on the bed and went downstairs to grab her some water and Tylenol because she's going to have a massive headache. I went back upstairs and gave it to her and then went to the bathroom and run her a bath. After running the tub for her, I got her some clean boxers and clean pyjamas. After I got everything ready I went to get her.

"Mika go bath please." I said helping her stand, walking us to the bathroom.

"You'll be fine on your own right?" I asked worried she might drown herself.

"Yeah, I'll be fine thanks." She said with a lazy smile. I smiled back and closed the door behind me. I would every five minutes knock on the door to hear if she's still okay. 

After she was done and dressed, I let her brush her teeth and helped her into bed. After that I heard a small knock on the bedroom door. I look back at Mika seeing she's already asleep.

I opened the door seeing Sienna standing there with a frown.

"Hey, sorry to bother you but I heard you leave, is everything okay?" She asked. I sighed and closed the door behind me and walked to her room. I sit on her bed and she sat down next to me looking worried.

"Yeah, everything is fine but Mika is acting weird when James mentioned her Doctor earlier, she would tense up and I don't know why." I said looking at her.

"She's hiding something of her health and I want to know what it is." I said frustrated.

"Well I suggest to leave her and wait until she's ready to talk to you about it." Sienna said and gave me small smile.

"I will, but why get drunk at a bar, I'm not used to her just getting drunk until early in the morning!"

"Val get some sleep and wait until later and ask her what's going on." Sienna said. I nodded at her and hugged her before I walked back to my room.

I climbed in next to a sleeping Mika wondering what's going on in her head of hers.

I woke up startled by Mika moving and talking in her sleep. Looking over at her I saw her face contorted in pain as she groaned and shifted in her sleep.
Mumbling

"No don't hurt me!"
"No leave me alone! Leave me alone!"
"I'm sorry! It won't happen again!"

Reaching out and placing a hand on her I try to wake her gently from her nightmare.

She wakes up with a gasp. She looked around scared and panicked. She looked at me with her eyes wide.

"I-I'm sorry, I was-"

"It's okay baby, I'm right here." She takes a deep breaths through her nose, trying to calm herself down.

I pull her towards me and let her rest her head on my chest, my fingers soothing through her hair. I could feel wetness against my chest, she was crying. I didn't talk or ask, she'll tell me eventually.

"I'm sorry." She whispered. I scratch the back of her neck and shake my head.

"Don't be, whatever it is, it's going to be okay." I tried to comfort her.

"No, you don't understand, you'll never understand."

"Then help me understand sweetheart, I can't help you if you don't tell me what's wrong." I said softly.

"I can't tell you, I can't." She whispered tiredly.

"I want to help, but I'll wait until you're ready to tell me." I whispered and kissed the side of her head.

She didn't speak again, she stayed quiet. Until she speak up again.

"Thank you." She whispered.

"Thank you for what?" I whispered back.

"For being here for me, never had someone to soothe me after a nightmare." She said quietly and vulnerable.

"Don't worry I'm not going anywhere." I said kissing the top of her head. She fell asleep after that.
