Mika

I was waiting for Sienna at her desk, I want to ask her where she has put that one file I gave her a few days ago since I have to give it to Howard.

After a few minutes Sienna came rushing in and put her bags down on her desk, looking out of breath.

"Do you have a gym membership?" I asked her and she frowned.

"Yes, why?" She asked confused.

"Do you use it?" She looked at me weirdly.

"Yes everyday after work, why?" I chuckled.

"Well it's doesn't seem like it since you look like you have run a marathon." She glared at me.

"Fuck off." I laughed amusingly at her and she became more annoyed at me.

"Why are you here anyway?" She asked and I sighed.

"I'm here for that file I have to give to Howard." She shook her head.

"No what I mean is why are you at work, didn't Valentina say you should stay at home and rest." I waved her off.

"Yeah but you know how stubborn I can get sometimes so here I am." She rolled her eyes playfully at me and handed me the brown file.

"Thank you, I'll see you later alligator." She burst out laughing and I smiled as I walked to Howard's office.

After I gave him the file I went to Valentina's office and knocked on the door.

I opened it and closed the door behind me and looked at her.

She was busy on her computer as I walked towards her.

"Hey sweetheart, I'll be with you in a minute." I nodded and sat on the couch in her office.

After she was done she joined me on the couch. "Something wrong?" She asked and I shook my head.

"No everything is okay." She nodded and pulled me into her arms.

"Are you nervous about the operation?" She questions suddenly.

"Yeah, I am but I can only hope that everything will go well." I shrugged and rest my head against her shoulder.

"Are you tired?" She kissed my forehead and I nodded.

"Only a little." I replied and closed my eyes.

"Why don't you text Luca so that he can take you home." I groaned and cuddled more into her side.

"Noo!" I whined and she chuckled.

"Fine then I will." She took her phone out of her pocket and send him a message.

"He said he will be here in a few minutes." I nodded and feel my eyes getting heavier. My heartbeat slowly down a bit.

I said over in my head because if I have a heart attack right now I know for a fact I'm going to die, my heart is too weak.

We waited in comfortable silence for Luca to show up, me and Valentina just cuddling on the couch in her office.

I must've fell asleep because I felt someone shaking me. "Baby, wake up Luca is here." I felt a kiss on my cheek and I groaned.

"I don't want to go, your so comfortable." She chuckled as I cuddled more into her.

"Come on, let's go." I glared at her as I stood up and she gave me an amusing smile.

"I'll see you later, okay." I nodded and gave her a kiss before I went to my office to grab my laptop bag.

After I got it I went to Sienna's desk and saw Luca standing there.

"Hey homie, you ready to go?" I smiled and nodded.

"Yeah, let's go." I went to Sienna and gave her a hug.

"See you tomorrow." After I said my goodbyes me and Luca went to his Jeep and was on the road.

"So how do you feel?" I'm so sick and tired of that question but I don't show it.

"I just feel tired that's all." I shrugged and he hummed.

"Are you scared?" He asked softly and I sighed.

"Yes and no. If I make it then I'll be in the clouds but if I don't make this operation then it is what it is." I shrugged and he shook his head angrily at me.

"Don't say that Mika, you'll make it." He nods to himself. I know over the past few months it was hard for Luca to see me in such a state that my health has gotten worse.

He's used to the Mika that makes jokes and that was full of life, but I'm not that person anymore, I'm basically a living corpse.

"I know that you're scared Luca, but we can't control what happens in life, when I live it was meant to be, if I don't make it, then it was meant to be." He let out a shaky breath and nodded.

When we got to the penthouse I was about to get out but then suddenly I feel excruciating pain on my chest. I winced and grabbed my chest.

"Luca, something is wrong." He looked at me and his eyes widen.

"Mika you're white as a fucking ghost." I groaned when a pain shot through my chest.

"I'm taking you the hospital." He started the car again and sped off and the pain is just getting worse.

"Mika stay with me!" I heard Luca's hysterical voice. My vision was getting blurry.

"MIKA!" Was the last thing I heard before I blacked out.
