"We don't need to control him, we need to unleash him. That man was born to end lives."
-
Achilles marches to Agamemnon's large, royal tent. He pushes past the guards as he barges through the door. "Ah, Achilles, my boy..." Agamemnon says with a smirk. Without any hesitation, Achilles grabs Agamemnon by the throat. He's so filled with rage and anger from the fact that his princess was taken by him, his body is trembling with anger and everything within him is telling him to kill Agamemnon in that very moment. "Where is she?" he says with a murderous glare, his grip on Agamemnon's neck is tightening. "Achilles!" Odysseus calls as he rushes over and tries to pry him away, he has no respect for Agamemnon either, but he knows that attacking the king can have severe consequences.
"Let me go!" Achilles says as his grip remains tight on Agamemnon's neck. All his desire is aimed towards tearing his heart out at that moment, he is so full of anger that nothing else even matters to him. He wants to tear this man to pieces and rip him to shreds, that is the only thing on his mind right now. It's takes five of Agamemnon's men to pull him away, the first few of them barely even move him but five of them together is enough to force him to let go of Agamemnon. He stares at him with pure hatred in his eyes as he tries to suppress his rage, he can feel the blood rushing to his face and he's sweating now from his effort to hold back.
"What in the gods, don't tell me you've grown to care for the girl!" Agamemnon bellows.
"Give her back to me." Achilles says through clenched teeth, he's trying to suppress his rage but the idea of Agamemnon possessing her is making his heart fill with bitterness and resentment. He wants to tear his heart out for having the audacity to have her, she shouldn't be in this bastard's possession.
"No." Agamemnon says cruelly.
"Give her to me." Achilles says, his tone is completely void of any emotion, it's merely a direct demand that he isn't willing to accept no for an answer to. Agamemnon's rejection sends a strong surge of rage through his body, that's the only thing he feels at the moment, is pure anger at him for having her.
"Oh don't tell me you're missing your bed warmer, we can find you another woman." Agamemnon says.
"She's not a 'bed warmer' to me." Achilles says sharply, he finds it insulting to have her even referred to as such, he's so filled with rage that he can't stand the fact that Agamemnon is treating her as some random woman he's casually toying with.
Agamemnon smirks, "You've fallen in love with her, haven't you?" He says coolly.
He stares at him angrily but he refuses to answer. Agamemnon has hit the nail right on the head, his feelings for her go so much deeper than just physical desire. He is in love with her, completely and utterly in love and the thought of him having her, of treating her as a mere plaything, it makes his rage burn even hotter and more intense.
Agamemnon laughs in glee, "Oh wonderful, that's what we needed in this war, boy, a forbidden romance." He says cruelly.
The thought of her being the object of Agamemnon's cruel amusement causes his rage to rise even higher, he can't stand the fact that he's treating her like this. He doesn't want anybody to know that he loves her, he just wants her back and he'll do anything to get her. "She's not a forbidden romance, she's mine and nobody else's... just give her back." he says with a look of pure malice.
"You're in love with the princess of Troy..." Agamemnon whispers with a cruel smile.
"Give her back to me." he demands, he is not willing to entertain this conversation any longer. He doesn't care that she is a Princess, his love for her is real and he would move heaven and earth if that was necessary to get her back. His love for her is pure, and Agamemnon is using his love for her as a tool to torture him. He's trying not to show it, but it's working, it's making his heart feel bitter.
