You were woken up by the constant beeping sound of a heart monitor. Bright white lights filled your vision, and as your vision starts to clear up, you noticed someone sitting beside your bed. It was Kafka, seemingly checking up on you.

You slowly got up the bed, every inch of your body hurting as you do so. There were bandages all around your body. After taking a quick look around the surroundings, it seems like you were brought back to the Stellaron Hunter's spaceship's med bay.

"Oh, seems like you've woken up." Kafka said, her smile never leaving her face.

You held your hand on your forehead, as if waking up from a bizarre dream.

"Kafka... What happened...?"

Kafka let out a curious smile. "You don't remember?" She looked at her gloved hands, acting like she's admiring her nails. "You got beaten unconscious, and Silver Wolf called me in to come save you."

"Silver Wolf... Silver Wolf! Is she alright?"

"It's okay, dear. She wasn't hurt in the slightest."

You let out a sigh of relief.

"I'm sorry, Kafka. I failed." You looked down at your hands. "I got myself and Silver Wolf caught on my first mission without you."

Kafka gave out a reassuring smile.

"You didn't failed at all, dear. It was all part of Elio's script, after all."

Your chin perked up and looked at the woman.

"You mean... everything went the way that it should've?"

Kafka smirked, got up from her chair, and walked towards the exit of the room.

"There won't be any missions anytime soon, so just get some rest, okay?"

Kafka stopped just before she exited the room and looked over her shoulder, seemingly waiting for you to answer her question.

"...Fine."

As comforting and reassuring her words seem to be, the feeling of coldness exuding from Kafka could still be felt. And as Kafka went out the med bay and closed the door behind her, a silver haired girl was standing beside the door, playing some games and chewing some gum. Kafka walks pass Silver Wolf, but stops beside her.

"After all those days sitting by his side, watching him lay there on the bed, and yet, when he finally wakes up, doesn't even have the guts to face him," Kafka told Silver Wolf, looking at her over her shoulder.

Silver Wolf gave a cold look to the side and continued playing her video games.

Kafka sighs as she continues walking pass Silver Wolf. "I don't know much about emotions, but they seem really complicated." And as the cold woman starts walking out of sight, and as a "GAME OVER" screen flashed on her phone, the hacker girl was left all alone, with only her thoughts to keep her company again.
