"the past few days have been really difficult for her, she is just really tired. i'll come back before dinner so that you both can get ready. i'll also set up another chair for you right next to Jess's." i told her dad, and walked out.
Her POV
i woke up in my bed and my dad was reading in a chair next to me. "Hey" i said. he looked up from his book, peering above his reading glasses. he raised his head and put down the book. "Hey Buttercup." i blushed at the name my dad called me as a kid. "I'm not 5 anymore." i said, rolling my eyes but still smiling.
and then i realized something.
i have so much i owe to Alex. i mean, he found my dad
