Everyone was at Opal's farwell dinner except for Keira. She wasn't feeling to well so she stayed in the guestroom.

"Thanks for making my favorite meal." Opal said to the Chef. "I'm really going to miss you, Opal. No one appreciates my raw veggie wraps like you do." He said and walked away holding the silver plate in his hands.

"Everytime I eat raw kale, I'm gonna think of you." Bolin said with a sad tone. "You're so sweet." Opal said. "This stinks. We were just starting to get to know each other and now you're to the northern air temple." "We'll be together soon. You guys are heading up after finding more airbenders, right?" Opal asked. "Yeah, but that's.. in the future." Bolin said. "Oh, I hate the future." He whines.

"Until then, we'll always have kale." Opal said, offering Bolin some kale.

"Kid, can I offer you some relationship advice?" Varrick asked from beside Bolin. "Um, no." Bolin replied. "Well, your loss." Varrick says shrugging.

Keira's pov

I hunched over the counter and held my head in my hands.

I heard the door and I didn't bother to look.

"Keira?" Lin called out, but I didn't respond. i watched as she hurried over to me. "I'm fine. I just have a headache." I say. "You sure?" She double checked. "Mhm." I hum and nod.

"Do you want to come say bye to Opal? She wants you to be there." Lin said. "Yeah, I'll go." I said. She nodded and helped me stand up.

We made our way outside and to the airship Opal was getting on.

"Thank you for coming to say bye." Opal said, hugging me. "No problem. Sorry I didnt come to dinner tonight, I wasn't feeling good." I said. "No, it's okay." She said.

"Opal, it's time to go." Su said. Opal let go of me and smiled, I returned my gesture.

later that night

I walked out of the kitchen and sat on the sofa.

"Let her go!" I heard someone yell.

I got off the sofa and walked out of the door, seeing Mako and Bolin fighting a quad of people. I closed the door and quickly ran over to help them.

I punched a couple fire-fists at them, but one of the bent the fire in a circular motion and it disappeared. I took a closer look at her and realized she was a combustionbender.

She punched a flame at us and Bolin blocked it with a concrete wall.

We hid behind a pillar for safety, at least for a couple second.

"They've got Korra!" Mako yelled.

A siren blared and lights began to shine onto the group of people who were attacking us.

I heard a couple explosions, then one right in front of us. I bent the fire around me and shot it back at them.

"What's going on?" Lin asked, appearing behind me. "Whoever those guys are, they've got Korra." I say.

Lin moved her arms in multiple ways, putting large metal sheets over the quad. Su and her two twins helped.

"We have you surrounded. It's over." One of the guards said. "Release the avatar!" She yelled.

Soon enough, lava came pouring out the bottom of the metal sheets, melting them.

I used fire jets and popped myself backwards, out of range of the lava.

"No way! That guy's lavabending!" Bolin said impressed. "That's awesome...-ly not good for us." He said.

I kept doing what I could to help fight them off.
