Lacey stood in the kitchen washing the dishes from last nights dinner, her and Rip got to distracted in each other to clean it up last night. So Lacey wanted to get them done before they got even more gross."Why is your ring on the dresser?"
"I don't want to wear it yet, we haven't told anybody. Well besides my dad." Lacey says turning away from the sink towards Rip and he sighs.
"I know it's stupid, but I want to tell everyone together. Like an announcement." Lacey says quickly, wrapping her arms around his neck smiling up at him innocently.
"No parties, I don't do that fucking shit." Rip says kissing her forehead.
"No party, what does work look like for you?" Lacey asks turning her attention back to the dishes in the sink.
"Going out to move cattle I bet, fucking pricks have Buffalo near our property." Rip says sighing. He hugged her from behind resting his head on the back of hers, her coconut shampoo filling his senses.
"You haven't scared them away?" Lacey asks still washing the dishes.
"What are you doing today?" Rip asks changing the topic. He places a soft kiss on her shoulder before standing beside her.
"Beth wanted to me to help with something today, I'll ask her to help get everyone together tonight." Lacey says draining the sink now that all the dishes are washed.
"You gonna tell her why?" Rip asks and Lacey shakes her head.
"No, I'll just let her think I'm pregnant. That's what's she's gonna assume." Lacey says with a smile making Rip laugh kissing the side of her head.
"She's gonna tell the whole fucking family and I'm gonna get fucking shot." Rip says against her head making Lacey laugh at him.
"You're dramatic." Lacey laughs turning to him. Rip smiles down at her and rests a hand on her neck gently making her melt into his touch.
"We've gotten pretty good at practicing making them." Rip whispers leaning down kissing her gently. Lacey kisses him back pulling him closer to her.
"Let's try again, for good measure." Lacey whispers against his lips. Rip quickly picks Lacey up throwing her over his shoulder, making her scream loudly laughing. Rip slaps her ass making Lacey laugh again as he carries her to the bedroom kicking the door closed behind him.

Lacey walked besides Monica, Kayce had called her asking if she could help look for a missing girl on the reservation. Of course Lacey agreed and now found herself walking beside Monica squinting because of the sun.
"Kayce!" Monica yells waving to Kayce, he walks over to them giving them a sad smile.
"Thank you guys for coming." Kayce says.
"Of course Kace." Lacey says gently.
"Alright folks listen up! Everyone stays 10 feet up! Scan the area around you, look for anything like keys, clothes, footprints. Do not touch it, stand over it and yell an officer will come to you!" A reservation officer yells. Everyone started walking, and Lacey made sure to look very carefully for anything that would show a sign to the girl.
The sun was making the day hotter, she could feel it heating up her skin and she couldn't imagine this girl being lost in this weather. Lacey walked up a hill and looked around frowning when she saw dirt moved around, almost like someone trying to hide footprints. Lacey kept walking making sure not to go on the messed up dirt and she stopped walking near the cliff, her heart stopped when she saw dark hair.
