Megumi was in their gym, Using Ezra as a weight, he giggled in response, his bright eyes sparkling with mischief as he reached out to grab at Megumi's nose, his chubby cheeks flushed with excitement.
"Getting a bit of a workout in before breakfast, are we?" Brina's voice interrupted Megumi's playful banter, her presence filling the room with warmth as she entered the gym, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "I thought I heard some noise in here."
"Hey, love," Megumi greeted, his voice laced with amusement as he carefully lowered Ezra back to the ground, his muscles straining with the effort. "Just getting a head start on the day, you know how it is."
Brina chuckled softly, her eyes dancing affectionately as she approached Megumi, her footsteps light against the polished floor. "I see that," she replied, her gaze lingering on the pair as she reached out to ruffle Ezra's hair affectionately. "Looks like you've got a little helper with you."
"Oh, by the way, Kenji said someone's at the gate; they say they want to see you." Megumi's brow furrowed with curiosity at the unexpected visitor, his mind already racing with possibilities as he considered who it could be. "Did they say who they were?" he asked, his voice tinged with caution as he glanced towards Brina, his concern evident in his expression.
Brina shook her head, her curiosity piqued by the mysterious visitor. "No, just that they wanted to speak with you," she replied, her tone thoughtful as she pondered the identity of their unexpected guest.
