Putting up with the geek

"Today you are going to be in parters. You can't chose your partner. It's just whoever sits next to you" Mrs.Holly my maths teacher said. I knew I was screwed. I looked to my side and there he was...Ashton! Ugh, ever since yesterday night I didn't want to talk to him ever again. I guess I am forced too.

Ashton sat closer to me talking as he wrote stuff down. I sort of wasn't listening, but I knew he would get the answers. He was a nerd of course he would!

"Emma!Emma!Emma pay attention!" Ashton demanded. I snapped back into reality. Ashton looked at me with annoyance.

"Don't get mad at me! You've seen my grades and there not the best! That's because I don't try or pay attention!" I explained.

Ashton rolled his eyes "Well if you want to get into a good college and get a good job your going to have to. I don't think you want to live with your parents your whole life do you¿"

"Of course not! Who would¿!" I yelled.

"Then you should probably try. It's not easy at first, but you can get it if you try" Ashton started going off about the importance of education. I almost listened, but remembered that he was just a geek doing an assignment with me.

"Can we just do this I don't need you over here telling me how to live my life. I can chose that on my own!" I muttered.

"Okay! okay! you just have to pay attention and help" Ashton ordered. He was right about it being hard, but he seemed to understand it easily. I guess that's what happens when you don't have a life.

"Class turn in your papers and go back to your seats!" Mrs.Holly yelled. She was a very intimidating person.

She started teaching a lesson and I actually took notes, which surprised myself. As she explained it, it made sense. It was pretty easy, shockingly.

After school was over my friend Shaylie insisted that we go out. As much as I love that I wasn't really in the mood, but I went for her.

"So where are we going¿" I asked her while drumming my fingers on my steering wheel.

"I don't know! How about the mall!" She cried with joy.

I smirked knowing that is always where she wants to go. "Okay! The mall it is!" I shouted as I drove off.

The mall was crowded. More than usual. Shaylie didn't mind though. She was already bolted to Forever 21 before I could even settle into the crowd. I ran trying to catch up with her, but got lost in the crowd. I sighed and gave up. If she wanted to leave me then I could leave her too. I decided to go to Starbucks. That's where Shaylie always comes whenever she sees it.

I sat for about 5 minutes before seeing something I dreaded. Ashton! It's like he's following me! Get a life! I get up to walk away, but I think he's noticed me too.

"I see that you aren't very happy to see me" He laughed. He hated me too so I don't see why he would try to talk to me.

"What are you doing here¿! I didn't expect to see people like you here today" I said while looking around to see more geeks.

"We're always here. We hang out at the comic book store across from Starbucks" He explained.

I laughed a little harder then I should have. "A comic book store¿! Just when I thought you couldn't get any worse! You like to hang out at a comic book store! Who the hell does that¿!" I yelled catching the attention of a couple people around us.

Ashton crossed his arms "We do!"

"Lame" I scoffed "I wouldn't be caught dead in a comic book store! Maybe that's why your so unpopular...but that's not much of a mystery! Have a nice day" I gave him a fake smile and went to find Shaylie.

As I was walking a group of arms grabbed me and picked me up. I tried to see who it was. "Let me down!" I screamed. They didn't listen. Someone put there hand over my eyes so I couldn't see. When I was put down I realized what those people did and I was furious.

People from school gathered around and laughed at me. The geeks had just put me in the comic book store.

"Omygod! Emma is in the comic book store! Is she a secret geek¿! I didn't see that one coming!" Shouted Luke Hemmings one of the main populars.
Everyone laughed as they took pictures and whispered to each other. This could not be happening.

I did what my mind told me to do. I ran to Ashton who was now laughing so hard he was clutching his stomach and kicked him in the knee.

"Ow! What the hell was that for¿!" He asked with an innocent but annoying smile.

"You know exactly what you just did! I was going easy on you, but now good luck making it through 5 minutes of school. You just got yourself a death wish!" I shouted.

Ashton rolled his eyes "Emma, living your life like a mean, crazy, psychopath isn't a good choice. I mean I know you want to chose it on your own, but something else would be better"

I bit my lip to stop me from saying something mean and walked away while flipping him off. I had to shove people out of my way. The worst part was Calum was in the back and saw the whole thing.

I don't even know exactly everything that went down after that I just knew that I had to get revenge on Ashton now and I knew exactly how to do it.

Let the ruing begin
