Ashton's POV

I slammed my locker shut and went down the hall to see what everyone was looking at. There were a lot of people and it made me very uncomfortable, but I wanted to see what all of this chaos was about.

Once I finally cut through what seemed like a million people the target everyone was on came to view.

It was Emma

And

...

Luke

Were they a thing now. I guess so since they seemed so comfortable kissing in front of everyone. I didn't want to see that so I casually walked away from the crowd of people and headed to maths.

Class didn't start for another thirty minutes, but normally I got there early so I could get my homework done. There really was no point because I didn't do much after school anyways. There always was Fifa to play, but that's pretty much it.

-

Class started and Emma sat in her normal spot in the back next to me. God that girl can be annoying and blame everything on me! Be mean to me! Embarrass me! I was sick of it, but every time I try to stand up for myself she finds a way to get me back. It was like I was sucked into a tornado and landed right on the wicked bitch of the west herself. That's what it seemed like to me.

I noticed throughout the class Emma and Luke kept looking over at each other. I don't know why, but when ever Luke looked and made Emma giggle a burning sensation started in my chest and I wanted to release all hell onto that charming blond haired boy to end him. If I knew how to do that I probably would have.

The whole class I barely paid any attention. I was to caught up in paying attention to Luke and Emma. What did she even see in him anyway. He's just another pretty boy that she wants to hook up with!

WAIT!

He's just another pretty boy! I could get myself a new look and maybe I would stop getting made fun of for being a dork! I guess I had something to do after school after all!

"Ashton! Ashton wake the fuck up!" A strange voice shouted as I quickly snapped out of my daze.

"What¿!" I asked looking around confused at who called me.

"Finally!" Emma shouted as she rolled her eyes. I was so confused on what was going on at that moment. "I've been calling you for a few minutes! What I was going to ask you was if you had the homework done and I could copy it¿"

"Do it yourself!" I scoffed.

"I can't I'm going over to Luke's today I won't have time! So just give me the paper!" She demanded.

"I'm not going to give you the answers just so you can have sex with Luke!"

"Your so annoying Ashton!" She screamed standing up leaving the class. The room was empty now. I didn't even hear the bell ring , but I guess I was thinking a lot.

-

After school I asked Michael if he would go to the store with me to get a new look. I had to get rid of the geeky look people labelled me with.

"I think you look fine! I don't want to change you into someone your not. Your awesome and super fun like this" Michael tried to convince me. It was obvious he wasn't going to help, but I knew someone who would. It was a long shot, but I could always try.

I went to the school gym knowing that's where I would find him.

"Hey Calum... do you think you could help me with something¿" I quietly muttered.

"Sure Ashton! What do you need¿"

"I don't want to look like a geek anymore and I need help" I blurted out quickly.

"I think I got that. You need help changing your look¿"

I reluctantly nod waiting for Calum's response. He was one of the only nice populars and I was so thankful for that at the moment.

"Of course I will help! How about in 5 minutes¿"

I nod again

-

The store was crowded like usual. Calum seemed to know his way around like the back of his hand which was good. He took me to the back by the dressing rooms.

"You don't want to look like a geek right¿ So what do you want to look like¿" Calum asked while looking through racks of clothes.

"I just want to look normal" I mumble. Around popular people that are nice I tend to be quit. I'm afraid I'll say something that will upset them and then I lose them.

"Truthful or friends advice¿"

"I want you to be completely honest!" I said a little louder.

"Okay then! First of all lose the suspenders! You need new clothes! Omygod you need a haircut! Let's get you some new shoes!" Calum goes on and on telling me things. Eventually I'm with a ton of bags of clothes and shoes and my hair got cut between that time. I don't even know how that happened.

I went to Calum's house after and looked in one of his mirrors when I was trying on some of the new outfits.

"Do you look normal now¿" Calum asks in a soft tone.

A smile tugs onto my face and I nod. Maybe this would change the way people saw me.

"Wait two more things!" Calum shouted out of nowhere and he came and took off my glasses and handed me my contacts that I never wear, but I guess I'll wear them now. I nod and put them on. "Try this on real quick!" He adds while handing me a fedora. He grins looking at me like I'm and artwork he just finished.

"I think that we successfully changed your look today!" Calum yells while turning me around to look at the mirror.

This is me now
