The Big Question

The rest of the night was amazing. We played games and talked, but Luke and I looked at each other the whole time. Calum and Shaylie were too busy making out to even notice.

"Do you want to get out of here for a little bit¿" Luke asked.

"Sure!" I replied. We snuck out leaving Calum and Shaylie... even though it was my house. Whatever!

It was late and cold, but I sucked it up because Luke was enjoying it. I went and reached for his hand. He looked me in the eyes and smiled. At least I thought he did. It was really dark and I could barely see.

Luke put his arm around me and kept me close.

"Are you cold Emmy" Luke asked.

"Emmy¿!"

"What¿! Just trying the whole nickname thing! So are you¿"

I shrugged and Luke put his jacket around me. "Thanks" I whispered as I kissed his cheek.

My phone lit up causing Luke and I to squint. It was Shaylie calling.

"Hello¿" I asked.

"Where the hell are you guys¿!"

"We went out for a walk"

"And you didn't tell us¿!"

"You guys were a little busy!"

"When will you guys be back¿!"

"Soon! Don't worry, we won't be gone that long"

"Ok good"she said as she hung up.

I guess that meant Luke and I had to go back. As we were going back Luke started to run looking back "I bet I can beat you there!" He shouted.

"Oh yeah¿!" I yelled back running with him.

We both ended up getting too tired to run the whole way so we stopped. God I need more exercise!

When we walked in the door Calum and Shaylie weren't there. We tried calling them, but they left their phones on the couch.

Luke and I walked upstairs and heard talking in my room. It was them, and I knew exactly what they were doing. I rolled my eyes and knocked on the door. They probably didn't want me to destroy the moment, but I did anyways.

"Dude what the hell do you want¿!" Shaylie yelled through the door.

"We're back just thought we would tell you"

"Well can you please leave for now please¿" Calum cut in.

"But that's my room"

"So¿! Goodbye" Shaylie shouted and ignored everything after that.

"Well we should leave them alone to do whatever that is" Luke laughed and held my hand.

We went downstairs and laid on my couch. He pulled his arm around me and I got all warm inside. "You look tired" He whispered into my ear.

I raised an eyebrow "what¿!"

"You look tired. You should get some sleep" He added.

I nodded and placed my head on his chest while he played with my long blonde hair until I fell asleep.

The next morning I woke up to Luke sprawled out on the couch like a spider. It was adorable.

I crawled out of his arms and went upstairs to check on Shaylie. I wasn't surprised to see Calum was right next to her. "Hey guys" I said walking into my room.
