Rumples POV
The sharp plastic tied around my wrists dig into my skin.
I can see Oliver next to me, struggling with his bonds, but I don't.
There's no point. The more I move, the more damage I will do.
I just need to think of an alternate way to get out.
I watched them as they ransacked through the little we had, big greedy smiles on their faces as they spot the wods of cash.
Goodness sake Gold! Why did you get so much?! We don't even need a quarter of that amount to get by in New York!
Why - why was I so stupid?
"We've hit the jackpot!!" The man from the ATM kept shouting.
"Wahaaay!" Was all the other could say.
"You do realise all this ruckus will cause security to get suspicious, why I wouldn't be surprised if they were on their way up here right now," I said calmly.
One of them men stopped for a minute, wary for a second.
"Nah, you're just staying that so we'll go," he smirked, carrying on his search through the room.
One half of me said it because I thought it might get them to leave quicker, but the other half was desperately hoping this was true.
I need to get out of here.
I need to get back to Belle!!
Why didn't we just leave once we'd found the map??
If only I had my magic... These two would be sorry...
I grit my teeth.
I look over to the gun on the table.
I'm too far away.
But Oliver, he may have a chance.
I look over to him.
His face was white, terrified.
I nudged him with my arm.
He jumped slightly and looked at me.
I gestured my eyes to him, then quickly at the gun and then back to him.
He frowned and looked behind him, the frown disappearing as he spotted the gun and was replaced with a look of determination when he looked back at me.
Be careful Oliver I tried to say with my eyes.
I looked over at the two men and tried to think of a distraction.
"What are you planning to do then - leave us here?" I asked.
One laughed,
"Course we can't leave you, you've seen our faces," he said.
"So what are you going to do with us?" I said, knowing full well their plan was to shoot us.
Both if them laughed.
"You'll have to wait and see," he smiled grimly.
What an unattractive man.
Inside, and evidently, out too.
Out of the corner of my eye I see Oliver shift a little closer to the table.
Unnoticed.
My heart started to beat faster, another few movements and he'll be there.
"Right, you done?" One said.
My heart stopped.
No, not yet.
"I believe you've missed the most valuable thing in here," I smirked, in an attempt to stop them.
"Oh yeh? What's that old man?" One said.
I stared at him.
Old man.
I think not.
"Well I was going to tell you, but seeing as you just said that, I'm not going to bother," I shook my head.
The larger one took a step toward me.
Good. This is what I want.
"What is it?" He growled.
"I think the more important question you should be asking here is where is it," I held his stare.
"Stop playing around with me, where is it?" He came closer.
I shrugged my shoulders.
He surged forward, gripping my collar.
"WHERE IS IT?" He held.
Using all my force, I kicked him hard in the crotch.
"Now Oliver!" I shouted, the one falling to the floor beside me.
The the other man, looked up and ran over.
His hands still tied in front if him, Oliver lunged for the gun, the same time as the other man.
I ducked as I heard them collide - a gun sounding.
I didn't look behind me and smacked the moaning mans head to the floor, causing him to fall unconscious.
I looked around and saw the man lying on the floor - also unconscious.
Yes he was shot! Not Oliver!!
I turned back to the unconscious man I was kneeling in front of and I went through his pockets in search of something to untie me with.
Finding a penknife, I saw through the plastic easily.
I'm free.
I stood up and looked toward the table - to see Oliver lying on the ground.
"Oliver, give my your hands," I say, walking over with the penknife.
But Oliver was motionless.
Suddenly I spot red, seeping from underneath him.
I ran over and knelt beside him.
I was wrong.
The other man didn't get shot.
Oliver did.Belles POV
I cupped my warm coffee in my hands.
I was at the sheriffs station, Emma, David, Mary Margaret, Regina and Killian all spotted around in there.
"I've been searching in the library all day, but I can't see anything that will let him cross the town line," I said quietly.
"...what a shame..." Hook snorted.
I looked up and frowned slightly.
Emma gave him a sharp look.
"What?" Hook raised his hands,
"Have you all forgotten the fact that he tried to kill me before he so tragically departed?!" He questioned.
Emma's face softened.
"He was just trying to protect me and Noah, he didn't want to," I defend him.
"Oh I think he did," David shook his head.
I frowned.
"No, he's changed," I say determined.
"You weren't there Belle, you didn't see the hunger in his eyes," Killian said.
I tried to say something, but I didn't know what.
"I can't believe we're even thinking about letting him back in this place! I mean, he's a murderer!" He laughed.
"No!" I shook my head.
"Open your eyes love - I'm serious! Think about it, since Golds gone, has anything bad happened?" He asked.
"That's true...but, we could use the Snow Queens scroll?" Mary Margaret said.
"But it, it's been...normal..." Emma sighed.
"Exactly, trust me, we're better off without him in this town," Hook said.
I stood up.
"Of course we're letting him come back in! This is his home!" I said, stressed.
"I know Belle... But Killan's right... And this is Gold we're talking about, he can survive out there by himself," Regina said.
I stared at her.
But what if I can't survive here, without him.
"We have to use the scroll!!" I nearly shouted.
They all were silent.
"Please!"
I walked to Snow.
"Please, please, my daughters out there..." I begged her.
Her already guilty face fell.
"Maybe we can seperate Gold from the town, but we can't separate mother and child," she said to the others.
"Gold can look after it! After all, it's not like he doesn't have the money!" Hook urged.
Snow looked to David.
"You know what it's look not to be with your child - and so do you," she said, turning to Emma.
Emma bit her lip.
"I can't lose both of them..." I trembled.
"I can't believe we're even discussing this!" Killian shouted.
"He. Tried. To. Kill. Me!"'
I looked to Emma.
She nodded.
"I'm sorry Belle, Im not putting this family, or anyone in this town in danger. I can't give you the scroll."
"Please! I'll do anything - please!" I sobbed.
"Belle..." Emma sighed coming over.
"That man has caused you more tears than love, you deserve to be with someone who only makes you happy! This is your chance! Find someone who will love you and won't lie to you constantly, someone who appreciates you," she squeezed my shoulders.
"But i don't want to..." I breathed.
There's nobody but Rumple.
"You have to," she said.
I stepped back from her and looked around at all of them, my eyes full with tears.
"Look at what you've become," I said, shaking my head.
"You only care about your own happiness, nobody else matters to any of you!" I said, before getting out as fast as I could.
I can't breathe.
I turn the corner and fell against a wall.
Closing my eyes, I sink down to the ground.
I'm never going to see my husband or daughter again.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
