Rumples POV
"So is a Oliver sticking around then?" Belle asked, nibbling a strawberry.
"Yes, he has his heart set on the little cottage just up the road from us," I nodded.
"How near to us...?' Belle asked, frowning a little.
"Literally just up the road...." I sighed.
Belle shifted a little,
"He seems to be really, attached, to you," Belle bit her lip.
I knew what she was thinking. Oliver has become extremely clingy since our return to Storybrooke.
"I mean, it's great that he feels he can talk to you - and you him, but, it seems like he wants to be with you..all the time," she sighed, stroking Noah's cheek.
"I agree, though am not sure what to do about it," I said honestly.
Belle sighed.
"I don't know what to suggest either, maybe tell him you need a little space? Make sure he knows your not banishing him or anything, you just need some distance?"'she cocked her head to one side.
"You always know what to do," I smiled at her, tucking her hair behind her ear.
"No I don't...." She looked down smiling.
A twig snapping behind me us, making my head snap toward the sound.
Belle sat up, looking around.
"What was that?" Her eyes darted around the little clearing.
"Probably nothing, sweetheart," I sat as well and rubbed her arm, looking around.
"I think someone's watching us," she peered into the trees.
"You stay here, I'll have a look," I said in an attempt to comfort her.
Using a spell to silence my footsteps, I head in the direction Belle was looking at.
Also, cloaking myself in an invisibility spell, I wander over, only to see sandy coloured hair poking out from a bush.
Oliver?
Why was he watching us?
Oliver kept his head low, but craned his neck to see into the clearing.
Squatting down next to him, I look at what he could see from this point. Straight through a line of trees, was a rather nervous Belle, bobbing a slightly unsettled Noah in her arms.
Standing back up, i become visible again.
"Oliver," I said sternly.
Oliver span around quicker than lightening.
"Mr Gold," he scrambled to his feet, obviously panicked that he'd been caught.
"What are you doing?"'I held my hands behind my back, frowning at him.
"Uh-I-I'm - lost?" He stammered.
"Really? Well from the looks of it, you seem to be watching something? Would you like to enlighten me and tell what that is?" I raised my eyebrows.
"Bird! Bird watching, yeh, I'm a bird enthusiast..." Even he knew his cover up was awful.
"Why are you watching my family?" I got to the point sternly.
He opened his mouth as if to reply, but nothing came out, then he shook his head sadly.
"I, I don't know..." He mumbled, looking at his feet.
I sighed
"Oliver, you know my feelings towards you, but, I need some space, I do," I softened.
"That's fine, maybe I'll see you every other day or something?" I suggested.
"Oliver... I've been thinking, maybe it is not such a great idea that you stay in Storybrooke," I replied truthfully.
His head snapped up.
"What?!"
"You have so much potential and if you stay in story-"
"No! This isn't you! This is Belles influence!" He shouted, casting a threatening glance over to the clearing where Belle sat.
"That's not in the slightest bit true, I haven't even told Belle about this?" I frowned, really not liking the way he had spat Belles name.
"No, she's turning you against me!" He seethed.
"Oliver, calm down, why would she do that? She doesn't even know you," i snorted.
"Yes but - but she knows that she doesn't have what we have, we have special bond that, that she knows she can never match to!! She wants you all to herself-"
"This is ridiculous, now Oliver I think you should leave," I shook my head.
"Fine, we'll talk about this later-"
"No Oliver, I think you should leave Storybrooke," I growled.
How dare he say these things.
Oliver shook his head violently.
"No, you don't mean that! You don't mean that!" He yelled, before turning on his heel and racing away through the forest.
I stood there for a minute, dazed.
How could that sweet boy I met in New York, become this possessive rude person.
No, I'm not having him say those things about Belle.
No.Belles POV
"What was he doing in the forest?" I asked Rumple when he finally told me what he found early in the forest.
"It looked like he was watching, well, us," he sighed, unlocking the shop door and leading us in.
I pushed the pram in and the door shut behind me.
"Right?" I said confused.
"It's nothing to worry about darling, he's just a boy, he won't do us any harm," Rumple said positively.
"No...no of course not..." I replied, lifting Noah out of her pram.
She's so beautiful.
Noah stared up at me, little giggles coming from her throat.
"Hello my love, hello," I cooed.
She's doing really well, sleeping all through the night, eating enough.
She really is the perfect child.
And here was Rumple thinking that she wouldn't be. I'm sure it won't all be smooth sailing, but for now, everything is good.
"Rumple?" I asked.
"Yes my love?" He replied, walking over.
"Did we ever figure out why her eyes are like they are?" I asked, staring deep into Belles purple and blue eyes.
"No...no I don't believe we did," he said, his arm sliding around my waist.
"Do you think we should?" I asked, looking up at him.
"I'm sure it's nothing to worry about my love," he kissed my forehead.
"Yes but-"
"You really do worry too much," he said taking Noah gently and placing her back in her cot, taking me in both his arms.
"I know, but with our history, there must be a reason," I bit my lip.
Wether it's to do with him or me, I'd like to know as you don't see many people with a purple eye...
"If you feel really strongly about it darling, I will look into it, on one condition," he raised his eyebrows.
"Mhh, and what's that?" I raised mine too.
Suddenly he picked me up and I was sat on the glass counter, his hands on my waist.
"We have another," he said, before moving his head so he could plant kisses all down my neck.
"Pardon?" I laughed, attempting to push him away a little, but failing.
"Another Noah, another gorgeous little baby, maybe with one green one blue eye..." He was rambling between kisses.
"Rumple!!" I giggled at the thought.
"But, but I thought you said one was enough!" I laughed.
"I'm serious," he was suddenly facing me, staring into my eyes, both hands placed on my cheeks.
"We could have one more, or, or a dozen more Noah's running around the place, wouldn't that be incredible?" He said a smile on his face.
"But, but what if like you said, they are like Noah... different...like Noah," I bit my lip.
"If all our children were like Noah, we'd be the luckiest parents in the world," he smoothed my cheek with his thumb.
"I guess you're right," I smiled.
"Right then, if we're going to make it a dozen...better...get...started..." He nuzzled his face into my neck, planting a kiss between each word.
"Rumple!" I squealed.
"Noah is right there - plus we're in the shop!" I laughed, protesting, but still not wanting the touch of his lips to ever leave my skin.
"Fine!" Rumple moaned, pulling away.
"Okay, maybe just one more..." Slowly I pulled him toward me and I placed my lips on his, my head tilting one direction, his the other.
The same sparks lit and set off around my head as they usually did when I kissed Rumple.
We broke apart as the shop bell rang.
"Ooohh sorry!" Snows voice rang.
"Slow down Gold, she's only just had one," Charming snorted.
I jumped off the counter, my cheeks flushing pink.
I looked up at Rumple, how did they know??"It's hardly my fault I'm irresistible," Gold winked, his sharp tongued arrogant self appeared.
I sighed a little, I still hate it when he gets like this in front of other people. Why can't he just be like he is when he's with me - with everyone...
"Anyway..." Snow said, trying to diffuse the tension,
"To help get back on our good side after you did what you did before we left.... We need your help with something, tonight," Snow said determinedly.
Rumple knew he'd only upset me even more if he refused.
"And that would be?" He asked.
"We'll tell you later," Charming stood his ground.
"Ah, taking me in blind are you? Fine? Fine," Rumple snorted.
"As we will be out, Belle, would you mind babysitting Neil? You could bring Noah over to ours and they could have, have a play date!" Snow said cheerfully looking at me.
"Uh, sure," I smiled, I couldn't really say no.. But it's fine, Neil is no trouble to look after.
"And Henry?" I asked with a smile.
"If thats okay?" Snow said, she knew that she was being a little cheeky, palming off her son and Grandson on me.
"That's fine, it'll be nice to spend some time with him," I smiled, making Snow know that it was fine.
"You'll both be at the apartment by 7?" David said.
"Sharp," Rumple nodded.
"Thank you so much Belle," Snow gave me a quick hug before her and Charming left.
"I wish they wouldn't do that," Rumple growled.
I went to him immediately.
"Do what?"
"Whenever anything happens call me straight away and leave all the children with you!" He shook his head.
"It's fine," I shrugged my shoulders.
"But I know how much you want to help sweetheart," he gave me the best sympathetic look Rumplestiltskin could.
"Mhh, but we both know you'd rather me be at home, rather than in the face of danger though hm?" I wrapped my arms around his neck.
He let out a little sigh.
"You got me..." He chuckled.
"I know," I laughed.--------------------------------------------
