She joined the fireflies alongside her mother when she was just a kid, and as the time passed she learned to see the people as her own family.
Despite the fact Blake was so young Marlene trusted the girl more than some of her eldest soldiers. She got her own pendant when she was just twelve years of age and she wore it proudly ever since.
Despite the harsh realities of the world they all lived in, Blake always maintained a compassionate and empathetic nature, always striving to protect and support those she calls family in any way.
