originally this gonna be another final battle au but I didn't feel like writing that again :>

Akaza's pov:

Master had assigned me and douma to go on a mission.

I didn't want to go with him but I had to listen to the master.

We we're supposed to meet up outside at 4.

It was already 4:10.

where is he?

well he's not here so i'll just go alo-

I hear someone behind me.

"Sorry I was late akaza-dono"

I roll my eyes. "Whatever lets go"

We were going to a big town, we heard that there were people there that developed some kind of poison to demons.

I don't see why he needed to send both of us...

The town is about an hour away.

while walking Douma tries to start a conversation but I just ignore him.

"We're here" I say.

"Should we split up?" He asks.

"Yeah, I'll go this way" I said heading to the left of the village.

"Ok, let's meet here in an hour?"

"Sure..."

I walk around for a bit, there's no sign of anyone.

It's a big town...where is everyone?

I see a big field outside of the village.

I look a little closer and I see some people in the field.

I should go see who they are.

wait...what if they're the poison makers?

maybe I should go get Douma...

NO. I don't need him. I can do this by myself.

But master did send us on a mission together for a reason...

ugh i'll just go get him.

I go back into the town trying to find him.

It hasn't been an hour so he's probably still looking around the town..

I see him close by the place where we were supposed to meet up.

I walk up to him.

"Douma, I found something"

"What is it?"

"Just follow me" I say.

We walk back to the field.

"Do you think those are the ones making the poisons?" he asks.

"Maybe....I don't know"

"Let's go look" he says.

We walk over to them.

They notice us immediately and pick up their swords.

I guess they're also demon slayers....

There's 2 of them, 1 girl and 1 boy.

Douma's goes for the girl.

Of course he would....

The boy swings his sword at me.

It seems as if he doesn't know how to use it, he didn't even come close to hitting me.

I'm easily able to kill him.

I look over at Douma's battle. The girl seemed to be a bit better at using a sword, but still was very weak.

"Hurry up!" I shout at him. "The sun's going to rise soon"

"Fine...."

He goes to kill the girl, but right before he's able to she stabs him with her sword.

She didn't go for his head, she stabbed him right where his heart is.

Weird...

He's still able to kill her easily.

"A-are you ok?" I ask.

He smiles. "yeah i'm fine"

"Let's go back, the sun's about to rise"

I'm not sure if they we're the poison makers....I didn't see any poison.

We start walking but Douma falls on the ground.

He put's his hand on his chest.

Right where she stabbed him...

"W-what's happening?"

"T-the was s-something in her sword" He says.

"can you move?" I asks.

"No....the poison i-it's paralyzing me"

No. no. no. no. The sun's about to rise we have to go.

"Please try" I say. "The sun's about to rise"

"Go..."

he's talking so quietly I can barely hear him.

"What?"

"Go" He said again, but louder.

No...what's he saying?

"No- I can't leave without you"

"Listen to me" He says. "The sun's going to rise in a few minutes you have to go"

"No i'm not going to go without you"

"Please akaza...do it for me"

Tears start filling my eyes.

"Please...please come with me"

"I can't. You have to go on without me"

"No...I can't lose you too"

"I promise i'll be watching you" he says. "I love you"

I wrote this during 3rd period cuz I had nothing to do

I realized that a bunch of my previous chapters have been in Akaza's pov only so next chapter I'll try doing Douma's
