Rose's POV:

Wow, Marcus is stupid isn't he. I wouldn't even believe me, with that kind of an answer. As soon as he left me and my friends started laughing. As soon as he was out of earshot, I turned to Amelia and said,

Rose: Hey you did clean up the blood in Alaia's room didn't you?

Amelia paled. Oh no. no,no,no, this cannot be  happening to me right now. For crying out loud,

Rose: ARE YOU KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW? So you are telling me, that, the damned cupboard down there, is still filled with blood, for people to just walk in and see?!

Amelia: I-I am sorry Rose, I didn't realise you wanted me to clean it.

Her voice was laced with desperation and Adele eyed me worriedly. They should be worried. Because if Anyone finds that room how it is, we are dead. Literally. I jumped up from my seat and walked desperately down the corridors. I was picking up the sounds of shouting and yelling. I stopped at the bend in the halls near the cupboard. My hand flew to my mouth to stifle the scream.

Diaboli himself had just walked out of the room.

He had seen it.

If you couldn't visibly see he was angry, you could feel it. The hairs on my arms stood on the end, and my hand shook. Suddenly The Monarchs claws pierced through Marcus's neck. The blood spurting out started off the normal bright red, but then progressively turned black. I clung to the wall in fear, and watched as Marcus was killed on the spot. His body dropped to the hard floor with a thump making me jump.

I had to practically run back the way I came, before I got caught watching. I darted down the hallways, bumping into people uncaring. I slipped into an empty office, and slammed the door behind me. I leaned against it, eyes closed, attempting to steady my heart beat. Once I had more or less calmed down, I fumbled for my phone, SHE is not going to like this. I dialled the number, and the call was answered after one ring,

Unknown: Rose, is it done? You were supposed to call me as soon as you did it.

I gulped, she was already annoyed at me for not calling soon. Why did I get myself into this situation. How was I supposed to explain now, 'everything is okay, except the small mishap, that Diaboli has killed a man and is fuming that Alaia is gone. I sigh and answer after a few seconds,

Rose:  I-its done, there is just, an, erm, problem...

Unknown: Spit it out child, what did you do to mess up my plan?

Rose: D-diaboli walked in... he saw all the blood. He killed M-marcus. And he has most likely sent out men to find Al-

Unknown:WHAT? DIABOLI?  THAT, is all I need right now. How am I supposed to get to her, if Diaboli, has his stupid men out looking for her? HOW many has he sent?

Rose: I-I think just J-Jason

Unknown: You THINK. The incompetence. Since you did not call me as soon as she left, when did she leave?

Rose: Around an hour ago, or-

I heard the sound of a loud thud and a smash, I faintly heard footsteps on the phone, then the voice appeared again, filled with anger,

Unknown: AN HOUR? IF I DON'T FIND HER WITHIN 24 HOURS, I  WILL KILL YOU AS WELL.

The phone went silent. I didn't notice myself trembling, leaning against the wall. Tears ran down my face and I prayed to the Azuron Goddess that she finds the girl. Because if she does not, there is no escaping....
