Chapter 5: How to console someone you've just met

It's now 5 and he's not back yet, me and Sandy are sat in the living room. Sandy has left the dinner that we had tonight in the oven keeping warm for him and Sandy had let me in to her pleasure of drinking red wine whilst watching the real housewives of new jersey, i don't get the show but i guess she does and to see her so calm and peaceful it's worth letting her have her pleasures.

In the two hour that i have had alone with Sandy i have learnt that she lives here all the time, she has been working for Mat for since he was 16 and she was hired by his dad to watch and keep and eye on him and she has done a pretty good job considering how he's turned out. I also now know that she likes the real housewives of new jersey and is a cool women on the inside and out.

"Wasn't he meant to be back by 5?" I ask looking at the clock which now reads 5:20pm and I'm getting worried by the lack of the tall hansom guy walking around in his casual button up shirts.

"Oh don't worry dear he's probably caught up i.." she's cut of by the door opening and Mat walking in and i look at her knowing she really does take notice of his work schedule and smiles at me knowing she was right.

"Hey" he says walking in once he's taken of his scarf, gloves, hat and coat as well as his shoes; another thing i learnt that he is  obsessed with having nice clean carpets so asks everyone who comes here and in his office to take them off.

"Hey" Sandy says as he walks in and sits next to me on the double couch that i have been spread along all afternoon, you know i could get quite used to this.

"How was your day" i ask as Sandy winks at me and then get's up to go and get Mat's dinner, i presume and he looks at me and says

"Eh same boring shit" he says and i laugh.

"What!" he says looking at me surprised that I'm laughing.

"You act so posh when your outside and around other people then you go and swear" i say between fits of laughter as he smirks and pushes me off the couch with causes me to continue to laugh even more as he joins in and ends up on the floor with me. Suddenly were both looking into each others eyes as we stop laughing and look at each other with tears in our eyes and suddenly were in one of those moments again where everything around us becomes invisible and our faces are so close that i can feel him breathing on me.  

"Your not toddlers, you don't need to sit on the floor you know" we hear that familiar voice and we jump to our feet with him helping me as she smiles at me clearly knowing she interrupted a moment and we just give each other glances as she gives him his food and then walks away to...clean.

" Oh by the way it just shows how good of an actor i am that i can act posh one minute and not the next" he whispers in my ear and i burst out into more fits of laughter.

It's now 10:55pm and I'm shattered after Mat had his food and I calmed down from my fit of giggles  me and Mat went to the park for a moonlight walk as you want to call it and he talked more about his family, i talked about my story and mine and how much my sister mean and how i talked to her and that she's very happy and she loves all of the maids and butlers there and she hopes mummy will get better. She also told me what mums doing to get help and i also added a thank you in when i told him all of this, followed by him saying there's nothing to be thank you for.

Then once we got home we found the house quiet and i said good night to Sandy as she was already in her room by the time we got back watching, you guessed it 'real house wives of new jersey'. I said goodnight to her and then went with Mat upstairs and no we didn't 'get it on' as you people say we said goodnight at the end of the corridor and we both went to our separate bedrooms.
