Chapter 9:Mrs Robinson

I walk out of her office with the biggest smile on my face but I decide to change it and look sad, just to tease Mat because I know how much he likes me.

His mother turns out to be a nice lady and is nothing like they all describe her she sais and I quote "I just wanted someone who didn't lie to get me to like her and someone who was like her" and we talked about how Mat was when he was little and he was so cute and then she told me about relatives etc.

 I walk out and sit back in the chair where I got told to sit earlier and the women who called me before walks past me and smiles this time looking less serious and easier to talk to and as she passes she says "Welcome to the family" and that surprises me and wow news spreads fast round the building.

I see Mat walking down the corridor coming for me at the time he said he would to see how it went and I put a serious face on. As he get's closer I can tell he's nervous to know the outcome.

"Hi" I say duly and he just says a "Hi" back and then grabs my arm to take me back home. As were driving the 40-45 minute journey home I can sense him wanting to know the answer but he knows I won't tell him as I promised to tell them both at the same time. Trying to keep a straight face and be very happy and excited is hard work!!!

We arrive home and we walk into the kitchen where Sandy gives me a hug and we all sit down except for me because I am that excited I can't!

"Well....." sandy says slightly grinning and I wonder if she knows but then I think how because she wasn't there and it wouldn't have spread that fast would it?

I look to the floor and mumble the words "Yes" and then I look up and they look at each other then Mat says

"What?"

"I said yes"

"Yes what?" Mat asks and Sandy sits there smiling and I know she's got it. Mat may take some of his qualities form her but definitely not his ability to understand short sentences.

"She said Yes, were getting married!" I shout and his eyes water and he grabs me and twirls me around so that I feel dizzy after.

"But....but how?" he asks and I smile.

"I may have shouted at her a bit and she said that I remind her of her when she was younger and then we talked about family and ye.... she said yes and now here we are" I explain and his smile never disappears once.

"Well I guess that calls for celebration then" Sandy says and she makes her way to the cooker and begins cooking I think our faviroute meal but I don't know.

"Sandy while you do that me and Anna will be going upstairs to change out of these clothes and into something more.....casual" she smiles as he says this and she probably thinks were gonna do "it".

"Okay" she sings happy with what her mind is telling her as he grabs my hand and takes me up the two flights of stairs and into the room that we now share, as Sandy suggested that we should as there is always time to move it back and her being so sure that I was going to get it.

"C'mon" he whispers as he takes me into his.....I mean our room and shuts the door.

"What would you like to wear" I ask moving over to our walk in wardrobe and looking down my and his isle at the same time and I stop at one of the dresses that I have been dying to wear but I decide not to as it's to classy and fancy. I am just about to move again when I see his hands sliver around my waist. I'm about to turn around but he yanks my waist and spins me all the way around to face him and I am met by a half naked Mat only in his underwear.

"Mat what's wrong" I ask thinking there's something up, stupid me!

"Nothing, dear I was just admiring your lovely arse and I couldn't help myself and as were alone and were meant to be getting dressed then I say why not" he finishes with a cheeky grin on his face and I stare amused at him.
