Cielo didn't know what he had expected from Hogwarts, but whatever it was, reality was one hundred times better. As he sat in a boat with Luna and the twins, he couldn't help but let his jaw drop. He'd never seen anything as magnificent in his life.

"You're little shocked expression is adorable," Eleanor cooed at the little version of her fiancè, "I miss those days."

"I don't," Cielo stated, which caused Eleanor to look at him weirdly.

"Why not?" Eleanor asked, "we were so innocent then."

"Because I couldn't do this then," Cielo attacked his fiancèe's lips, pulling her closer to him in the process. Eleanor rolled her eyes, but indulged him anyways. She was just glad he was willing to receive physical contact again after so long.

"It's beautiful," Luna whispered serenely, her silver-blue eyes glimmering in awe, "Mum and Daddy didn't lie about how beautiful it was."

"Did you think they did?" Cielo asked his godsister curiously, one blond eyebrow raised, "they had no reason to."

"It was a manner of speech," Luna smiled teasingly, "I'd expect an avid reader like you to catch that."

"You got me there," Cielo laughed, messing with Luna's hair, to which she pulled away from. The twins observed from the sidelines, it was blatantly obvious the two were family. It was sort of embarrassing that they hadn't realized earlier.

"They're sweet to each other," Alice remarked, "I wish I was that close with my own godsiblings. Sadly, they're much older than me, and we've barely met."

"Follow me," Hagrid, the big man they had met earlier, guided them inside the building, "you'll meet Professor McGonagall in here."

"Thank you for bringing the first years," a stern looking woman clad in emerald green and pointed witch's hat told Hagrid, "I will take it from here."

Hagrid waved goodbye, and exited the large doors he had brought them through moments before. The professor, McGonagall as Hagrid had referred to her, addressed them.

"Welcome to Hogwarts,' said Professor McGonagall, "the start-of-term banquet will begin shortly, but before you take your seats in the Great Hall, you will be sorted into your houses. The Sorting is a very important ceremony because, while you are here, your house will be something like your family within Hogwarts."

"You're looking well Minerva," Albus complimented his employee, "you haven't aged a bit."

"You're too kind Albus," Minerva responded tersely, though internally pleased, "I hope my capability as a teacher hasn't diminished. That's what's most important"

Cielo ignored the rest of the teacher's words, focusing on observing the other first years. He didn't really know any of them, and the thought of having to remember all their names was intimidating to him.

After the professor left, the first yers began to socialize amongst themselves.

"Why don't we split up for a little?" Cielo recommended to Luna, "we won't make any friends if we stick together all the time."

"I don't know," Luna nervously clung to Cielo's arm, "it's kind of scary to talk to new people."

"Alright," Cielo changed his mind, "let's go together." The two approached a group of students, and Luna signaled to Cielo to introduce them.

"Hello," Cielo did as Luna asked, and extended his hand, "I'm Cielo Crouch. This is Luna Lovegood."

"Cassidy Rowle," a blonde girl accepted his hand, "pleasure to make your acquaintance."
