Cielo Regulus Crouch could not believe his eyes. He was really stuck with these nut cases for who knows how long, all to watch his life. The higher being that trapped them there didn't even apologize or tell him what was going on. He just told the room, "I have gathered you all here to watch the kid missing an arm's life. I will record your reactions to feed my ego." Then, the obnoxious entity left them there, all alone.
In the room, his keen eyes, trained by horrible torture, identified the people in the room. He seemed to be the only one from his timeline there. He saw a young Pandora, hand anxiously clutched in Xeno's hand. He saw a young Sirius, covering what must be Lily and James Potter's blind spots, his former professor, Remus Lupin, right beside them. An older couple stood beside them, but Cielo wasn't sure who they were.
Regulus Black was standing next to Bellatrix Lestrange, the older laying a protective hand on his shoulder, maniacal look on her face. Her husband Rodolphus and brother-in-law Rabastan were standing in front of a woman he couldn't identify, due to them completely guarding her from view, vicious looks on their faces. Lord Voldemort himself was there, causing dark and powerful tension to fill the room
He saw what must be his father, Barty Crouch Jr, standing beside two elders who must be his grandparents. The elders of the Black family were there too, Arcturus, Melania, Orion, Walburga, Cygnus, and Druella. Narcissa and Lucius Malfoy were there as well, the former glaring at a woman who looked just like Bealltrix. Holding said woman tight, a man was standing, a little girl with bright pink hair hiding behind his pant leg.
Albus Dumbledore, Alastor Moody, Minerva McGonagall, and Kingsley Shacklebolt stood beside each other. Cielo smiled at the sight of Kingsley. It made him think of his lovely fiancèe, Eleanor Shacklebolt, said man's niece. As he thought of her, shadows formed beside him, and out came his beautiful, kindhearted fiancèe.
"Cielo," she instantly pounced on him, looking him over, making sure he was okay. It made his love for her swell to the surface when she did things like this. He loved her so much.
"Eleanor my love," he kissed her quickly to stop her from fussing, before shouting loudly, "let's introduce ourselves to these folk!" Quietly, he whispered their code word for distraction. He had to get closer in order to make a hit.
"My name is Eleanor Shacklebolt," Eleanor gave the hand signal for understood, "I am the daughter of Sherea and Felix Shacklebolt. I was born on March 19th in 1981."
"You're Felix's kid?" Kingsley asked the girl, "that would make you my niece."
"Indeed young Uncle Kingsley," Eleanor smiled, "in fact, we are rather close. We go boating twice a month."
"I'm glad to hear," Kingsley returned her smile, "but where's the boy you kissed? He's disappeared."
Cover blown, Cielo slashed his wand at Voldemort, Avada Kedavra leaving his lips. As the curse bolted towards the darkest wizard England had ever seen, a shadowy force sucked it up. Undeterred, Cielo quickly grabbed his pocket dagger, and thrust it straight towards Voldemort's chest. As the man reacted, trying to dodge as his followers attempted to help him, the same shadowy force swallowed his dagger, and gently moved him back to Eleanor.
"Why can't I kill him?" Cielo shouted, eyes widening in hysteria, "I have to kill the maniac."
"Deep breaths Cielo," Eleanor grabbed her fiancèe's hand and held it steadily, "remember what the therapist said."
"Right," Cielo calmed down slowly, as Eleanor lovingly counted numbers to calm him down, "sorry about that El."
"No need for apologies," she booped his nose, "I like you just the way you are."
