"Are you able to go get some cinnamon from the Diggorys?" Xenophilious asks Cielo the next afternoon, "Nancy said that she'd lend me some."

"Alright Uncle Xeno," Cielo left the house, and hooped on his broom, racing to the Diggorys.

"Cielo?" Cedric's astonished face appeared in the doorway. He must have only just gotten out of bed, as his hair was an absolute wreck, "is something wrong?"

"I never saw him like that," Eleanor giggled, "who knew that he got bad hair days too?"

"No Ced," Cielo laughed, "I'm just here to pick up cinnamon. What happened to you?"

"My brush and I are not on speaking terms," Cedric crossed his arms in mock anger, "so I was stuck with this mess."

"He forgot his brush in school," Nancy called from the kitchen, causing Cedric to flush red, "and he's too embarrassed to ask us to fix it."

"Way to spill my secrets Mum," Cedric groaned, "come Cielo, I'll get you the cinnamon."

"What did you get Nancy and Amos for Yule?" Cielo asked, "I got Xeno a proper tie. Who knows if he'll actually wear it?"

"I got Dad a talking planner," Cedric told Cielo as he searched through the spice drawer for cinnamon, "and Mum a hair kit. They're not particularly picky."

"They're so wholesome," Bianca cooed to herself, "I'm glad I sent him to Pandora. Only good things seemed to have come out of that."

"I wish you didn't fear me that much in the future," Barty clung closely to her, "then we could have been a happy family."

"As if they'd ever be happy," Sirius muttered to himself, "the kid is mad. He would never be a good father."

"Lucky," Cielo groaned, "it's impossible to find anything for Luna. She'll turn anything I give her into some creature or other fantastical existence."

"I'm sure she'll grow out of it," Cedric reassured Cielo, before pulling a small container out of the drawer, "finally! Here's the cinnamon Cielo. This took way too long to find."

"No problem," Cielo took the container, "thanks. See you tomorrow. You're going to love my gift this year."

"As long as it's not your baking again," Cedric shuddered, "once was more than enough Cielo."

"My baking is fine," Cielo protests, "you just don't know how to appreciate it."

"I say this with love," Cedric places his hands on Cielo's shoulders, "you're baking is a hazard to society. Please never bake for me again."

"I'm glad that you've grown better in that department," Eleanor smiled at Cielo, "otherwise we'd have issues."

"We wouldn't want that would we?" Cielo smirked, slinging an arm around his fiancèe, "don't worry Eleanor, I don't plan on burning our house down."

"Spoilsport," Cielo pouts, before heading pack to fly home, "bye Cedric."

"Bye Cielo," Cedric smiles, and the two friends part. An achy feeling filled Cielo's chest. He never liked it when him and Cedric had to part.

"That took a while," Xenophilious commented as Cielo entered the house, "what took so long? Did you find a flimpy bird on your way back?"

"No Uncle Xeno," Cielo sighed as he handed over the cinnamon, "Cedric just had to find the cinnamon, which took a little while."

"I see," Xenophilious responded, "do you have any plans for the day? I know it's Yule tomorrow and all, but if there's something you want to do, we can do it?"
