It was a long day at work. All you wanted to do was to get back to your shitty apartment you shared with a friend. Maybe even watch a movie and order take out? But no. Your bus had to be late, didn't it? You were sitting at the bus stop with your head against the side, your eyes feeling heavy. You didn't even notice someone had sat next to you because you were so tired.
You lived with your best friend to save money but that apartment was way to expensive. You and your friend had been trying to find a new place for weeks but they were all just as expensive or even more. Not to mention your landlord was a old geezer who probably lost custody of his kids when he divorced his wife. Or that's the vibe you got from him at least.
You didn't even realize you had fallen asleep until you felt someone tap your shoulder. you opened your eyes to see a boy with white hair and kind violet eyes. He looked around your age. You then realized the bus had come and if he didn't wake you, you would of missed the last bus of the night.
"Thank you so much." You said tiredly but he just nodded and got onto the bus. You followed behind him and scanned the bus for a empty seat, only to see the violet eyed boy wave over to an empty seat next to him. You smiled and went to sit down, grateful to the stranger you have met today.
"Thank you. My name is L/n." You said with a tired smile, your hair a bit messed up from your 12 hour shift. The boy just smiled and grabbed his phone, than typed a few things. He then showed you his phone and it read, 'My name is Inumaki Toge. I apologize for not being able to talk but you have no need to thank me.' What a gentlemen!
"There is no need to apologize Inumaki! Its nice to meet you." You said with a smile as he returned your kindness with a smile. He offered you his number which you gladly accepted. Toge Looked tired as well and you started to realize his eyelids were getting heavy.
You suddenly felt a weight on your shoulder and turned to see Toge laying his head on your shoulder. You didn't know how to react but seeing how tired he looked, you decided to let him rest.
Around 20 minutes later you reached your stop. You slightly shook Toge in an attempt to wake him up. It worked and his eyelids started to move. "This is my stop, it was really nice to meet you Inumaki." You said with a smile. Toge returned your smile and waved you off.
As you skipped off to your apartment, Toge was watching you out the window with a goofy smile. At the next stop, Toge got off and called Gojo to pick him up. He didn't even have to take the bus. He saw a suspicious man on the bus and he didn't want Y/n to get hurt.
So when he saw the sleeping girl at the bus stop on his way back to Jujutsu Tech, he couldn't let her get hurt. He decided it would be safer to take her home but who would want a strange man you never met making sure you got home? No one. So Toge came up with a way to make sure she got home safe without looking like a creep.
When you got back to your apartment you saw your roommate sitting on the couch asleep. You smiled to yourself and picked her up, taking her to her bed. She often made sure you got home safe from work whenever she could.
You laid her in her bed, then walked to the kitchen to grab a quick snack. Just then, you heard your phone ding and checked it. To your surprise, you saw that Toge had texted you.'Hey, did you get home safe L/n?' The message said. You couldn't help but smile to yourself when you read the text.
You responded to the text, saying, 'Yeah I did', 'hbu?', 'Did you make it home safe?' You sent three separate texts because that's just how you text. When Toge read your message's he couldn't help but smile, which made Gojo look at him funny.
"Who you talking to?" He said curiously, Toge almost never used his phone since he wasn't the best with technology. "Salmon." He said flatly as he looked up at his phone to see Gojo staring at him with a smug smirk.
"Kelp?" He said confused.
"My boy has finally grown into a man." Gojo said, faking wiping a tear as Toge rolled his eyes. He responded to your text with 'I did. I'm glad you made it back safe. Have a good night, L/n.😊' You smiled at the message before walking to you and your roommates shared room.
'Goodnight, Inumaki :D' You said before realizing you still needed to take a shower and brush your teeth. You groaned and walked to the bathroom to take a shower, leaving your phone in the room.
Your roommate woke up and saw you walking around a little to happier then normally. She grabbed your phone and tried guessing the password and to her surprise it was her own birthday.
She read the messages with a smirk on her face, thinking that her best friend and roommate might not be single for long. She also wont have to worry about her friend complaining about being single or not liking anyone for much longer.
She sat Y/n's phone on the desk and got back into her bed, going back to sleep with a smug smirk plastered on her face.
